DECLARATION
of 11 December 2014
amending Decree No. 419 / 2012 Coll., on the Protection of Experimental Animals
The Ministry of Agriculture provides pursuant to Article 29 (1) of Act No. 246 / 1992 Coll., for the protection of animals against abuse, as amended by Act No. 162 / 1993 Coll., Act No. 77 / 2004 Coll., Act No. 312 / 2008 Coll., Act No. 291 / 2009 Coll. and Act No. 359 / 2012 Coll., for the implementation of Section 16a (1) and Section 18g (8):
Decree No. 419 / 2012 Coll., on the protection of experimental animals, is amended as follows:
1. In Article 1 (d), the words "and the model of the experimental project form 'are deleted.

Model application form for approval of an experiment project
The model of the application form for the approval of the experiment project is set out in Annex 4 to this order. ';
3. Annex 4 shall read as follows:

4. Annex 5 is deleted.
5. In Annex 10, the following is added at the end of the Annex:
"Explanatory notes:
1) If the box is empty, the method of killing for each species of test animals is permitted.
(2) Where the box is crossed out, the method of killing for each species of experimental animals shall be prohibited.
(3) Where reference is made in the box to the requirement, the method of killing for each species of experimental animals shall be authorised and carried out in accordance with the relevant requirement. ';
Efficacy
This Decree shall enter into force on 1 January 2015.
