GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 19 June 2002
on the occupation of soldiers of the Czech Army to carry out the tasks of the Police of the Czech Republic between 16 November 2002 and 24 November 2002
The Government orders pursuant to § 14 paragraph 3 of Act No. 219 / 1999 Coll., on the Armed Forces of the Czech Republic, and pursuant to § 50a of Act No. 283 / 1991 Coll., on the Police of the Czech Republic, as amended by Act No. 26 / 1993 Coll.:
§ 1
A maximum of 2 400 soldiers in active service shall be used for the performance of the duties of the Czech Police in the Czech Republic in the period from 16 November 2002 to 24 November 2002.
§ 2
(1) Soldiers in active duty carry out the tasks referred to in Section 1 under the command of a member of the Police of the Czech Republic.
(2) Except in the case of soldiers in active duty who are intended to guard Prague Ruzyně International Airport and members of the Military Police, soldiers in active duty carry out the tasks referred to in Section 1 without firearms.
§ 3
The Minister of Defence shall designate soldiers in active service, including military equipment, to carry out their duties under Section 1.
§ 4
This Regulation shall enter into force on 16 November 2002.
