amending Act No. 185 / 2001 Coll., on waste and amending certain other laws, as amended, and Act No. 56 / 2001 Coll., on the Conditions for the Operation of Vehicles on the Road and amending Act No. 168 / 1999 Coll., on Insurance of Liability for Damage Caused by the Operation of a Vehicle and amending certain related laws (Act on Insurance of Liability from the Operation of a Vehicle), as amended by Act No. 307 / 1999 Coll.
Parliament has decided on this law of the Czech Republic:
Amendment to the Road Traffic Conditions Act
Act No. 56 / 2001 Coll., on the conditions for the operation of vehicles on the road and amending Act No. 168 / 1999 Coll., on the insurance of liability for damage caused by the operation of the vehicle and on the amendment of certain related laws (Act on the Insurance of Liability from the Operation of Vehicles), as amended by Act No. 478 / 2001 Coll., Act No. 175 / 2002 Coll., Act No. 320 / 2002 Coll., Act No. 193 / 2003 Coll., Act No. 103 / 2004 Coll., Act No. 186 / 2004 Coll., Act No. 170 / 2004 Coll., Act No. 124 / 2008 Coll., Act No. 137 / 2008 Coll., Act No. 226 / 2006 Coll., Act No. 383 / 2008 Coll., is amended as follows:
1. The following Section 79c is inserted after Section 79b:
(1) A road vehicle operator which is registered in a road vehicle register and which, according to a regular technical inspection, is technically fit for use on the road may request testing of that road vehicle.
(2) The testing of the road vehicle referred to in paragraph 1 shall be carried out by the legal person referred to in Section 79b (2). The test result shall be indicated in the test report issued by the legal person to the road vehicle operator. The test result shall be valid until 31 May of the calendar year following the calendar year in which the testing of the historical vehicle was carried out.
(3) The road vehicle operator referred to in paragraph 1 may submit a report on the valid testing of a road vehicle to the competent authority for registration of a historic vehicle referred to in § 79a (1) and request recognition of the testing of a road vehicle. The local competent authority shall verify the validity of the test report and issue to the road vehicle operator evidence of recognition of the testing of the road vehicle for historical originality. The evidence of recognition of the testing of a road vehicle for historical originality shall be valid until the date of expiry of the protocol on valid testing recognised by it, but no later than 31 May of the calendar year following the calendar year in which the testing of the historical vehicle took place.
(4) The implementing act shall lay down the methods and conditions for testing the road vehicle referred to in paragraph 1, the model application for recognition of the testing of the road vehicle and the model of evidence of recognition of the testing of the road vehicle for historical originality. '.
2. In § 91, the words "§ 79b (7) 'are inserted after the words" § 79c (4)'.
EFFECTIVE
This Act shall take effect on the 15th day following its publication.
