GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 29 November 1999
fixing the rates of duty applicable to imports of road semi-trailers originating in the European Union
The Government mandates pursuant to § 57 (1) (f) of Act No. 13 / 1993 Coll., Customs Act:
(1) For goods falling within tariff subheadings 1) 8701 20 10 - new road semi-trailer tractors and 8701 20 90 - road tractors used, originating in the European Union, the rate of import duty shall be as follows:
(a) 4,7%,
(b) 3.0%.
(2) The rate set out in paragraph 1 (a) shall apply from the date of entry into force of this Regulation until 31 December 2000 and the rate set out in paragraph 1 (b) for the period 1 January 2001 to 31 December 2001.
Goods originating in the European Union are goods which meet the conditions laid down in the international contract. (2)
For the period of validity of this Regulation, the rates of duty laid down by law (1) and the international contract (2) shall not apply to the goods defined in Article 1 and under the conditions defined therein.
This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its publication.
This Regulation shall expire on 31 December 2001.
