THE LAW
of 21 July 2021
on special voting arrangements in elections to Parliament of the Czech Republic in 2021 and amending certain laws
Parliament has decided on this law of the Czech Republic:
Amendment of the Local referendum Act
In Article 5 of Act No. 22 / 2004 Coll., on a local referendum and amending certain laws, as amended by Act No. 38 / 2019 Coll., the following paragraph 3 is added:
"(3) Paragraph 2 shall not apply if the local referendum is to take place in conjunction with elections which are held even at a time of crisis. ';
Amendment to the Regional referendum Act
In Article 5 of Act No. 118 / 2010 Coll., on the Regional referendum and amending certain laws, as amended by Act No. 38 / 2019 Coll., the following paragraph 3 is added:
"(3) Paragraph 2 shall not apply if the regional referendum is to take place in conjunction with elections which are held even at a time of crisis. ';
EFFECTIVE
This Act shall take effect on the day following its publication.
