DECLARATION
of 3 September 2012
on requirements for the equipment of the health transport service provider, the emergency care service provider and the patient transport provider of emergency care by means of transport and the requirements for such means of transport
The Ministry of Health provides, pursuant to Section 120 of Act No. 372 / 2011 Coll., on health services and the conditions for their provision (Health Services Act), for the implementation of Section 11 (7) of the Health Services Act:
§ 1
The requirements for the equipment of the health transport service provider, the health rescue service provider and the patient transport provider of emergency care by means of transport and the requirements for technical and material equipment, marking and colour execution of such means of transport are set out in the Annex to this Decree.
§ 2
(1) The requirements for the marking and colour execution of means of transport under this Decree do not apply to the means of transport of the armed forces and the Prison Service of the Czech Republic (the "Prison Service").
(2) The requirements for the colour design of means of transport under this Decree do not apply to means of transport registered in the Czech Republic until 31 December 2013.
§ 2a
Czech technical standards that are used under this decree are published on the website of the Ministry of Health.
§ 4
This decree shall take effect on the day of its publication.

Requirements for the equipment of the health transport service provider, the health rescue service provider and the patient transport provider of emergency care by means of transport and requirements for technical and material equipment, marking and colour execution of such means of transport
I.
Requirements for the equipment of the health transport service provider by means of transport and requirements for technical and material equipment, marking and colour rendering of such means of transport
The health transport service provider shall, according to the health service provided, be equipped with means of transport which meet the following requirements for technical and material equipment, marking and colour:
A. Patient transport vehicle
1. A patient transport vehicle means an ambulance meeting the requirements for the operation of motor vehicles on the road under other legislation1). The patient transport vehicle meets the requirements laid down for road ambulance vehicles for the transport of patients type A1 or A2 according to the Czech technical standard governing the medical means of transport 4).
2. The vehicle shall be equipped with:
2.1. Carriers equipped with a child and adult restraint system,
2.2. a device for transporting a sitting patient, unless the function of that device is carried by a stretcher,
2.3. transport sail,
2.4. blankets and bedding,
2.5. an automatic external defibrillator for which no heart attack recording is required;
2.6. Hand-held breathing apparatus with accessories for newborns, children and adults with the possibility of connecting to a medical oxygen source,
2.7. an oxygen cylinder containing 2 litres with inhalation oxygen supply accessories, including half mask, flow meter and reduction valve,
2.8. bleeding aid,
2.9. Material for wound treatment,
2.10. a fixation splint for upper and lower limbs,
2.11. an emergency birth kit,
2.12. non-glass urine container,
2.13. disposable vomit bags or disposable emission bowls,
2.14. a trash can,
2.15. disposable gloves - 25 pairs,
2.16. hand disinfectants and medical devices,
2.17. a vehicle radio station or integrated connection to a public mobile telephone network (handsfree),
2.18. an internal communication device between the driver and persons in the patient compartment, provided that the vehicle's internal arrangements do not allow direct communication between them;
2.19 by working reflector,
2.20. a special blue warning light (2) accompanied by a special audible warning device,
2.21. Device to fix a folded wheelchair.
The equipment referred to in paragraphs 2.11, 2.17 and 2.18 shall not be required in the vehicle of the Prison Service.
3. Requirements for marking and colour design of vehicles for the transport of patients
3.1. The basic colour of the vehicle bodywork is white. For contour highlighting, the vehicle on the sides, front and rear surfaces of the bodywork are marked with a horizontally applied retro-reflective line of red colour, adapted to the shape of the vehicle. The width of the strip shall be at least 150 mm and not more than 300 mm.
3.2. In the middle of the front door to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle, the vehicle is marked with "HEALTH TRANSPORT SERVICE 'and in the second line below this sign with the name of the health service provider, made in black with letters of at least 15 mm high.
B. Vehicle for the rapid transport of medical workers and for the urgent transport of tissues, cells and other biological material, medicinal products and medical devices necessary for emergency care
1. A vehicle for the rapid transport of medical workers and for the urgent transport of tissues, cells and other biological material, medicinal products and medical devices necessary for emergency care is a vehicle of category M1 meeting the conditions for the operation of motor vehicles on the road under other legislation1).
2. The vehicle shall be equipped with:
2.1. An appropriate type of transport box for the transport and short-term storage of tissues, cells, other biological material and medicinal products; the transport box shall be equipped with a thermometer. The transport box is not required if the vehicle is intended exclusively for the transport of medical workers,
2.2. Integrated connection to the public mobile telephone network (handsfree),
2.3. A special blue warning light (2) accompanied by a special audible warning device. The equipment referred to in point 2.2 shall not be required in the vehicle of the Prison Service.
3. There shall be space in the vehicle for safe storage of the material being transported.
4. Requirements for the marking and colour design of vehicles for the rapid transport of medical workers and for the urgent transport of tissues, cells and other biological material, medicinal products and medical devices necessary for emergency care
4.1. The basic colour of the vehicle bodywork is white. For contour highlighting, the vehicle on the sides, front and rear surfaces of the bodywork are marked with a horizontally applied retro-reflective line of red colour, adapted to the shape of the vehicle. The width of the strip shall be at least 150 mm and not more than 300 mm.
4.2. In the middle of the front door to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle, the vehicle is marked with the name of the health transport service provider. The inscription is made in black. The letter height shall be at least 15 mm.
II.
Requirements for the provision of medical rescue services by means of means of transport and requirements for technical and material equipment, marking and colour rendering of such means of transport
The medical rescue service provider shall be equipped with means of transport which meet the following requirements for technical and material equipment, marking and colour design:
A. Rapid medical assistance vehicle
1. A rapid medical assistance vehicle means an ambulance that meets the conditions for the operation of motor vehicles on the road under other legislation1). The rapid medical assistance vehicle meets the requirements laid down for road ambulance vehicles for the transport of patient type B or mobile intensive care unit type C according to the Czech technical standard governing medical transport4).
2. The vehicle shall be equipped with:
2.1. Carrier carrying a restraint system for children and adults,
2.2. A vacuum mattress,
2.3. A device for transporting a seated patient if the function of that device is not provided with a chassis;
2.4. Transport sail,
2.5. blankets and bedding,
2.6. Thermoinsulating film for maintaining body temperature,
2.7. Film or bag for the deceased,
2.8. a portable defibrillator with a monitor and a 12-channel record of an EKG curve and a heart rhythm stimulator enabling data transmissions,
2.9. Hand-held breathing apparatus with accessories for newborns, children and adults with the possibility of connecting to a medical oxygen source,
2.10. portable apparatus for artificial pulmonary ventilation,
2.11. two oxygen cylinders, each containing 10 l of inhaled oxygen, including half mask, flow meter and reduction valve,
2.12. two oxygen cylinders, each containing 2 l,
2.13. set of breathing aids - laryngoscope with different sizes of spoons, endotracheal cannulas for all age groups, Magilla pliers, endocracheal cannula loader, intubation bužie, supraglastic aids, kit for invasive airway protection,
2.14. help to moisturise the airways and apply medicines,
2.15. a valve for creating positive pressure in the airway at the end of the exhalation (PEEP valve),
2.16. a portable battery pump with a capacity of at least 1 l,
2.17. Infusion heating device to 37 ° C ± 2 ° C;
2.18. Equipment for injection and infusion including appropriate cannula,
2.19. Equipment for administration of overpressure infusion,
2.20. Infusion fixation device,
2.21 by infusion pump or syringe dispenser,
2.22 Intra-oseal input aids for children and adults,
2.23 chest puncture kit,
2.24. a pericardium puncture needle,
2.25th Capnometer,
2.26. tonometer with different sizes of cuff,
2.27. a pulse oxymeter,
2.28. stethoscope,
2.29. glucometer,
2.30. body temperature measuring equipment,
2.31. an emergency birth kit with material for both mother and child treatment,
2.32. Devices to immobilize the cervical spine,
2.33. immobilization aids, including splint,
2.34. materials for wound treatment,
2.35. burn treatment material,
2.36. diagnostic light,
2.37. non-glass urine container,
2.38. disposable vomit bags or disposable emission bowls,
2.39. medical waste container,
2.40. trash can,
2.41. sterile surgical gloves - 6 pairs,
2.42. disposable gloves - 25 pairs,
2.43. an extrusion device (spindle splint or functionally similar), a spinal or a scooter frame,
2.44. a safety helmet for all members of the exit group,
2.45. with safety (working) gloves,
2.46. personal protection against infection for all members of the exit group,
2.47. head lighting kit for all members of the exit group,
2.48. portable reflector for field search,
2.49. clothing shears, footwear and safety belts,
2.50. disinfectants for hands and surfaces,
2.51. vehicle radio stations,
2.52. portable radio stations,
2.53. connection to the public telephone network via mobile phone,
2.54. an internal communication device between the driver and persons in the patient compartment, provided that the interior arrangement of the vehicle does not allow direct communication between them;
2.55. GPS navigation or its equivalent allowing data exchange with a medical operating centre,
2.56. a special blue warning light (2) or a combination of blue and red colours, supplemented by a special audible warning device.
3. Requirements for the marking and colour design of fast medical assistance vehicles
3.1. The basic colour of the vehicle bodywork is the sulphur yellow RAL 1016, the roof is the same or white.
3.2. The symbols of the Blue Star of Life are located on at least both sides of the vehicle and the rear door.
3.3. On the side sides of the bodywork the vehicle for contour highlighting is marked with a horizontally applied retro-reflective stripe with regularly alternating fields, green and yellow. The field shall have a dimension of not less than 300x150 mm; in technically justified cases, meaning in particular the lack of space for the location of the field or the impossibility of the location of the field due to the shape of the bodywork, the dimension of the field shall be adapted to the structure of the vehicle. The fields are placed in one or two horizontal stripes, creating the appearance of the chessboard.
3.4. In the middle of the front door to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle, the vehicle shall be marked with the inscription "HEALTH SAFETY 'and in the second row under this inscription the name of the keeper of the medical emergency services, made in black, with a letter height of not less than 15 mm. This marking may be replaced by a health service provider's 200 mm or more.
3.5. In the centre part of the front bonnet to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle, the vehicle is marked with a large sign of a health service provider of at least 400 mm height and not more than 500 mm height or "AMBULANCE 'inscription. The inscription is made in green.
3.6. On the sides of the bodywork, the vehicle is marked "HEALTH SAFETY '. The inscription is placed between the upper edge of the window and the upper edge of the body; in technically justified cases, meaning in particular the lack of space for the location of the inscription or the impossibility of placing the inscription on account of the shape of the bodywork, the inscription may be placed between the lower edge of the window and the upper edge of the retro-reflective strip. The inscription is made in green. The letter height shall be at least 100 mm.
3.7. The rear side of the vehicle bodywork includes retroreflective stripes of red and yellow. The stripes are placed at an angle of 45 degrees to the horizontal surface of the vehicle. The width of the stripe shall be at least 150 mm. The stripes are directed from the median longitudinal axis of the rear part to the outer part of the bodywork. The first stripe from the upper outer part of the bodywork at the front is red.
3.8. The front and rear of the bodywork are marked "AMBULANCE." The inscription shall be placed in the centre part of the transverse axis of the vehicle between the upper edge of the windscreen and the upper edge of the bodywork, if technically possible with regard to the vehicle structure, and between the upper edge of the rear window and the upper edge of the bodywork; in technically justified cases, meaning in particular the lack of space to place the inscription or impossibility to place the inscription because of the shape of the bodywork, the inscription on the back of the bodywork may be placed between the lower edge of the window and the lower edge of the bodywork. The inscription shall be made on the front of the bodywork in green and on the back of the bodywork in red. The letter height shall be at least 150 mm.
3.9. If there is a sign on the roof of the vehicle expressing the call sign of the radio station located in the vehicle, it shall be composed of letters at least 200 mm high. If the size of the inscription exceeds the size of the free space on the roof of the vehicle, the inscription with the call sign shall be placed in two rows. The gap between the lines is 100 mm. In technically justified cases, meaning in particular the lack of space to place the inscription or impossibility to place the inscription due to the shape of the bodywork, the height of the letters shall be adapted to the structure of the vehicle.
4. The provisions of Section II (A) (3) shall not apply to vehicles of the patient transport provider of pre-hospital emergency care, which provides medical rescue services under Section 14 of Act No. 374 / 2011 Coll., on the Medical Rescue Service. These vehicles shall have the colour and marking referred to in Part III (3).
B. Rapid medical assistance vehicle in meeting system
1. A rapid medical assistance vehicle in a meeting system means a vehicle of category M1 meeting the requirements for the operation of motor vehicles on the road under other legislation1).
2. The vehicle is intended for the rapid transport of medical workers to the place of pre-hospital emergency care within the meeting system.
3. The vehicle shall be equipped as a rapid medical assistance vehicle in accordance with Section A (2) of Part II, except for the equipment referred to in points 2.1, 2.3 to 2.5, 2.11, 2.17, 2.20, 2.21, 2.37, 2.43 and 2.54 which is not required. The equipment referred to in point 2.12 of Section A (2) of Part II shall be accompanied by an accessory to inhalation oxygen administration, including a semi-mask, a flow meter and a reduction valve.
4. There shall be space in the vehicle for safe storage of the material being transported.
5. Requirements for marking and colour execution of fast medical assistance vehicles in the meeting system
5.1. The basic colour of the vehicle body is the sulphur yellow RAL 1016.
5.2. The symbols of the Blue Star of Life are placed on at least both sides of the vehicle and the rear door. The size of the symbol shall be at least 200 mm.
5.3. On the side sides of the bodywork the vehicle for contour highlighting is marked with a horizontally applied retro-reflective stripe with regularly alternating fields, green and yellow. The field shall have a dimension of not less than 300x150 mm; in technically justified cases, meaning in particular the lack of space for the location of the field or the impossibility of the location of the field due to the shape of the bodywork, the dimension of the field shall be adapted to the structure of the vehicle. The fields are placed in one or two horizontal stripes, creating the appearance of the chessboard.
5.4. In the middle of the front door to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle, the vehicle shall be marked with the inscription "HEALTH SAFETY 'and in the second row under this inscription the name of the keeper of the medical emergency services, made in black, with a letter height of not less than 15 mm. This marking may be replaced by a health service provider's 200 mm or more.
5.5. On the front hood, the vehicle is marked with a large character of a health service provider with a maximum size of 500 mm or "AMBULANCE '. The inscription is made in green.
5.6. On the sides of the bodywork, the vehicle is marked "HEALTH SAFETY '. The inscription is placed between the lower edge of the window and the lower edge of the body. The inscription is made in green. The letter height shall be at least 50 mm.
5.7. The rear side of the vehicle bodywork includes retroreflective stripes of red and yellow. The stripes are placed at an angle of 45 degrees to the horizontal surface of the vehicle. The stripes are directed from the median longitudinal axis of the rear part to the outer part of the bodywork. The first stripe from the upper outer part of the bodywork in front view is red.
5.8. The back of the bodywork is marked "AMBULANCE." The inscription is placed in the centre part of the transverse axis of the vehicle between the lower edge of the rear window and the lower edge of the bodywork. The inscription is made in red.
5.9. If there is a sign on the roof of the vehicle expressing the call sign of the radio station located in the vehicle, it shall be composed of letters at least 200 mm high. If the size of the inscription exceeds the size of the free space on the roof of the vehicle, the inscription with the call sign shall be placed in two rows. The gap between the lines is 100 mm. In technically justified cases, meaning in particular the lack of space to place the inscription or impossibility to place the inscription due to the shape of the bodywork, the height of the letters shall be adapted to the structure of the vehicle.
6. The provisions of Section B (5) of Part II of Section B shall not apply to vehicles of the patient transport provider of emergency care, which provides medical rescue services on the basis of Section 14 of Act No. 374 / 2011 Coll., on the Medical Rescue Service. These vehicles shall have the colour and marking referred to in Part III (3).
C. Rapid medical assistance vehicle
1. A rapid medical assistance vehicle means an ambulance that meets the conditions for the operation of motor vehicles on the road under other legislation1). The rapid medical assistance vehicle complies with the requirements laid down for vehicles of the road ambulance rescue service type B or the mobile intensive care unit type C according to the Czech technical standard governing medical means 4).
2. The vehicle shall be equipped as a rapid medical assistance vehicle in accordance with Section A (2) of Part II, except for the equipment referred to in paragraphs 2.23 and 2.24 which is not required.
3. The basic colour of the vehicle bodywork and markings shall be the same as that of the vehicle for rapid medical assistance according to Part II, Section A.
D. Vehicle for transporting premature and pathological neonates
1. A vehicle for the transport of premature and pathological newborns shall mean an ambulance meeting the conditions for the operation of motor vehicles on the road under other legislation1). The vehicle for the transport of premature and pathological newborns meets the requirements laid down for type B road ambulance vehicles or type C mobile intensive care units according to the Czech technical standard governing the medical means of transport 4).
2. The vehicle shall be equipped as a rapid medical assistance vehicle in accordance with Section A (2) of Part II, except for the equipment referred to in points 2.2 to 2.5, 2.10, 2.23, 2.24, 2.31 to 2.33, 2.37, 2.43 to 2.45, 2.48 and 2.49 which is not required. The vehicle shall also be equipped with an automatic lung fan with the possibility of ventilation of the newborn and a compressed air source. If the health care provider's incubator is not exclusively used, the vehicle shall also be equipped with a transport incubator with equipment to continue the immediate care of the newborn during transport.
3. The basic colour of the vehicle bodywork and markings shall be the same as that of the vehicle for rapid medical assistance according to Part II, Section A.
E. Helicopter for flight exit group
1. Helicopter for an air travel group means a helicopter - an air ambulance suitable for transport, continuous care and monitoring of patients meeting the conditions for operating an aircraft under other legislation3). The helicopter for the flight group meets the requirements set for air ambulances according to Czech technical standards governing air ambulances5).
2. An ambulance shall be equipped as a rapid medical assistance vehicle in accordance with Section A (2) of Part II, except for the equipment referred to in points 2.3, 2.11, 2.12, 2.51, 2.52, 2.54 and 2.56 which is not required. Furthermore, the air ambulance shall be equipped with at least two oxygen cylinders, each containing at least 4,7 l or its volumetric equivalent, at least one portable oxygen cylinder of a minimum capacity of 2 l with an inhalation oxygen supply accessory including a semi-mask, a flow meter and a reduction valve, as well as a radio station for connection to a medical operating centre and exit groups. The stretchers referred to in point 2.1 of Section A (2) of Part II need not have a chassis. The requirement for helicopter equipment shall apply to the health-rescue service provider setting up the departure base of the air travel groups.
F. Other and special vehicles for medical emergency services
1. Other and special vehicles of the medical emergency services are vehicles of categories A, L, M, N, O and R meeting the conditions for the operation of motor vehicles on the road under other legislation1) intended to perform the tasks of the medical emergency services under the Health Services Act, the Health Rescue Service Act and the Integrated Rescue System Act.
2. Requirements for marking and colour design of other and special vehicles for emergency medical services
2.1. The basic colour of the vehicle body is the sulphur yellow RAL 1016.
2.2. The symbols of the Blue Star of Life are located on at least both sides of the vehicle and the rear door. The size of the symbol shall be at least 200 mm; in technically justified cases, which mean in particular the lack of space for placing the symbol or the impossibility of placing the symbol on account of the shape of the body, the size of the symbol may be adapted to the structure of the vehicle.
2.3. On the side sides of the bodywork the vehicle for contour highlighting is marked with a horizontally applied retro-reflective stripe with regularly alternating fields, green and yellow. The field shall have a dimension of not less than 300x150 mm; in technically justified cases, meaning in particular the lack of space for the location of the field or the impossibility of the location of the field due to the shape of the bodywork, the dimension of the field may be adapted to the structure of the vehicle. The fields are placed in one or two horizontal stripes, creating the appearance of the chessboard.
2.4. On the sides of the bodywork, the vehicle is marked "HEALTH SAFETY '. If the vehicle has side windows, the inscription is placed between the upper edge of the window and the upper edge of the bodywork; in technically justified cases, meaning in particular the lack of space for the location of the inscription or the impossibility of placing the inscription on account of the shape of the bodywork, the inscription may be placed between the lower edge of the window and the upper edge of the retro-reflective strip. The inscription is made in green. The letter height shall be at least 100 mm.
2.5. The front and rear of the bodywork are marked "AMBULANCE." The inscription is adapted to the specific technical characteristics of the vehicle in front and rear. The inscription shall be made on the front of the bodywork in green and on the back of the bodywork in red. The letter height shall be at least 100 mm.
2.6. The rear side of the vehicle bodywork includes retroreflective stripes of red and yellow. The stripes are placed at an angle of 45 degrees to the horizontal surface of the vehicle. The stripes are directed from the median longitudinal axis of the rear part to the outer part of the bodywork. The first stripe from the upper outer part of the bodywork in front view is red.
2.7. Vehicles shall be equipped with a special warning light with a combination of blue and red colours, supplemented by a special audible warning device.
G. Vessels of medical emergency services
1. Requirements for marking and colour rendering of medical rescue services vessels
1.1. On the side sides, the outline highlighting vessel shall be marked with a horizontally applied retro-reflective strip with regularly alternating fields, green and yellow. The field shall have a dimension of not less than 300x150 mm; in technically justified cases, meaning in particular the lack of space for the location of the field or the impossibility of the location of the field due to the shape of the body, the size of the field may be adapted to the structure of the vessel. The fields are placed in one or two horizontal stripes, creating the appearance of the chessboard.
1.2. On the side sides, the vessel shall bear the inscription "HEALTH SAFETY 'and in the second row under this inscription the name of the operator of the health-care services in green.
1.3. If the vessel is equipped with a special warning light, the light shall be blue or a combination of colours blue and red and be accompanied by a special audible warning device.
III.
Requirements for the equipment of the patient transport provider by means of means of transport and requirements for technical and material equipment, marking and colour rendering of such means of transport
The patient transport provider shall be equipped with a means of transport which meets the following requirements for technical and material equipment, marking and colour:
Vehicle for the transport of patients urgent care
1. A vehicle for the transport of patients with urgent care shall mean an ambulance meeting the conditions for the operation of motor vehicles on the road under other legislation1). The vehicle for the transport of patients with urgent care meets the requirements laid down for road ambulance vehicles for the transport of patients with urgent care type B or mobile intensive care unit type C according to the Czech technical standard governing medical transports4).
2. The vehicle shall be equipped as a rapid medical assistance vehicle in accordance with Section A (2) of Part II, except for the equipment referred to in paragraphs 2.23, 2.24, 2.43 to 2.45 and 2.47 to 2.49 which is not required. Furthermore, the equipment of a mass radio communications network of an integrated rescue system shall not be required by vehicle radio stations; This is without prejudice to the requirement to equip a vehicle radio station pursuant to point 2.51 of Section A (2) of Part II. This provision does not apply to vehicles of a pre-hospital emergency care provider which provides medical rescue services pursuant to Section 14 of Act No. 374 / 2011 Coll., on medical emergency services.
Where the transport of premature and pathological newborns is ensured, the vehicle shall be equipped in accordance with Part II (D) (2).
3. Requirements for marking and colour design of vehicles for transporting patients with urgent care
3.1. The basic colour of the vehicle bodywork is white. For contour highlighting, the vehicle on the sides, front and rear surfaces of the bodywork are marked with a horizontally applied retro-reflective line of red colour, adapted to the shape of the vehicle. The width of the strip shall be at least 150 mm and not more than 300 mm.
3.2. In the middle of the front door to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle, the vehicle is marked with "TRANSPORT OF PATIENTS UNDESTROYED PEACE 'and in the second row under this sign with the name of the organiser of the transport of patients with urgent care carried out in black with a height of 15 mm. This marking may be replaced by a health service provider's 200 mm or more.
3.3. The vehicle shall be marked on the sides with the inscription "TRANSPORT OF PATIENTS OF UNDESTROYED HEAT '. The inscription is placed between the upper edge of the window and the upper edge of the body; in technically justified cases, meaning in particular the lack of space for the location of the inscription or the impossibility of placing the inscription on account of the shape of the bodywork, the inscription may be placed between the lower edge of the window and the upper edge of the retro-reflective strip. The inscription is made in black. The letter height shall be at least 100 mm.
3.4. The front and rear of the bodywork are marked "AMBULANCE." The inscription shall be placed in the centre part of the transverse axis of the vehicle between the upper edge of the windscreen and the upper edge of the bodywork and between the upper edge of the rear window and the upper edge of the bodywork; in technically justified cases, meaning in particular the lack of space to place the inscription or impossibility to place the inscription because of the shape of the bodywork, the inscription on the back of the bodywork may be placed between the lower edge of the window and the lower edge of the bodywork. The inscription is made in black. The letter height shall be at least 150 mm.
3.5. The rear side of the vehicle bodywork includes retroreflective stripes of red and yellow. The stripes are placed at an angle of 45 degrees to the horizontal axis of the vehicle. The width of the stripe shall be at least 150 mm. The stripes are directed from the median longitudinal axis of the rear part to the outer part of the bodywork. The first stripe from the upper outer part of the bodywork in front view is red.
3.6. If the vehicle is equipped with a radio station, the vehicle roof shall bear a sign indicating the call sign of the radio station located in the vehicle. The call sign shall be composed of letters at least 200 mm high. If the size of the inscription exceeds the size of the free space on the roof of the vehicle, the inscription with the call sign shall be placed in two rows. The gap between the lines is 100 mm. In technically justified cases, meaning in particular the lack of space to place the inscription or impossibility to place the inscription due to the shape of the bodywork, the height of the letters shall be adapted to the structure of the vehicle.
4. If the transport of patients is provided by an emergency care service provider, a rapid medical assistance vehicle or emergency medical assistance complying with the requirements for vehicle equipment for the transport of patients can also be used to transport patients.
