DECLARATION
of 16 September 2011
on the issue of the commemorative silver five hundred crowns for the 200th anniversary of the birth of Karl Jaromír Erben
The Czech National Bank provides pursuant to § 22 (a) of Act No. 6 / 1993 Coll., on the Czech National Bank, as amended by Act No. 442 / 2000 Coll.:
(1) On 2 November 2011, the 200th anniversary of the birth of the author Karel Jaromír Erbena is issued a commemorative silver five hundred crown ("five hundred crown").
(2) Five hundred koruna is issued in the normal version and in a special version with polished field of coin and matte relief (hereinafter referred to as "special version").
(3) Five hundred crowns in normal and special design are rolled from an alloy containing 925 parts of silver and 75 parts of copper. The weight of the 500 crown is 25 g, 40 mm diameter and 2.55 mm thickness. In the case of embossing of five hundred crowns in normal and special design, the tolerance shall be 0,1 mm in diameter and 0,15 mm in thickness. In mass, the tolerance shall be up to 0,26 g and in the silver content shall be up to 1%. The edge of the five hundred crown in normal design is serrated, the edge of the five hundred crown in special design is smooth with the feature "CZECH NATIONAL BANKA * Ag 0.925 * 25 g *."
(1) There is a bouquet of meadow flowers on the cheek of a five-hundred crown, over whose stems is placed a two-row inscription "KYTICE FROM THE NATURAL VIDEO." At the left, bottom and right edges of the five hundred crown, the name of the state is "CZECH REPUBLIC" and the denomination of the coin with the abbreviation "500 CZK." Both texts are separated by a dot. The brand of the Czech Mint consisting of the composition of the letters "No" and "M" is above the letter "B" from the word "Republic."
(2) On the reverse of the 500 crown is a portrait of Karl Jaromír Erben. The text "KAREL JAROMíR ERBEN" is enclosed on the edges of the "1811" and "2011" in an unclosed copy. At the right edge of the portrait is the mark of the author of the five hundred crown Jaroslav Bejvl, which consists of the letters "J" and "B."
(3) The image of the five hundred crowns is given in the annex to this decree.
This Decree takes effect on 2 November 2011.
