DECLARATION
of 14 September 2023
on the issue of banknotes of 5 000 CZK model 2023
The Czech National Bank provides pursuant to § 22 paragraph 1 (a) of Act No. 6 / 1993 Coll., on the Czech National Bank, as amended by Act No. 442 / 2000 Coll. and Act No. 89 / 2018 Coll.:
On 25 October 2023, banknotes of 5 000 CZK model 2023 (hereinafter referred to as "the banknote") are issued for circulation.
The banknote has the same parameters and security features as the banknote after CZK 5,000 of the 2009 model, from which it differs only from the year of issue 2023 and the facsimile signature of the representative of the bank of issue and in a way of identifying the series of banknotes, which consists of a combination of letters of alphabet and numbers.
This decree shall take effect on 25 October 2023.
