Explanatory notes:
1. Sampling for the determination of hot water indicators (excluding targeted epidemiological investigations) shall be carried out after the water has been forgiven for 1 minute.
2. Limit as a limit applies to health and accommodation facilities, public swimming pools and swimming pools; for other objects, it shall be the recommended value to be pursued by means of technical measures.
3. The limit as the highest limit applies to the separation of hospitals where immunocompromised patients are located, such as transplant, premature, anesthesioreresuscitation, dialysis, oncology, haematooncology, intensive care units.
4. The limit value refers to the sum of the following types of atypical mycobacteria: Mycobacterium chelonae, M. kansasii, M. avium, M. intracellulare, M. crophulaceum, M. xenopi, M. fortuitum. The indicator shall be determined only in the case of the production of hot water from a source of surface water or mine water and with central heating and distribution.
5. The indicator does not need to be determined when the CHSK- Mn content (chemical oxygen consumption) is determined.
6. The indicator does not need to be determined when the TOC content (total organic carbon) is determined.
7. It shall not apply to controlled shock disinfection, where higher doses of disinfectant can be used, provided that, by means of organisational measures, the water thus treated is not used for human consumption (drinking and bathing). The free chlorine and chloride dioxide content is only determined when these substances are used in water treatment.
8. Expressed as PO43. The indicator is determined only if a phosphorus-based chemical is added to the hot water.
9. In case of doubt, steps 1 and 2 shall be considered acceptable in the determination according to EN 1622. Determination of the odour threshold number (TON) and taste threshold number (TFN).
10. For water with naturally lower pH, pH values of 6,0 to 6,5 shall be considered as complying with the requirements of this Decree provided that the water does not act aggressively against the materials of the distribution system, including the internal tap.
11. The temperature of hot water should not fall below 50 ° C (preferably above 55 ° C) after unturning to minimise the development of legionels in the water supply.
12. The limit applies to the sum of quantitatively identified concentrations of trichloromethane (chloroform), tribromomethane (bromoform), dibromochloromethane and bromodichloromethane. If possible, without reducing the effectiveness of the disinfectant, the lowest possible level shall be achieved. The indicator shall be determined only if the water is disinfected with the chlorine preparation.
13. The unit shall be indicated according to the method used to determine: F (t) or F (n), where (t) means a turbidimetric and (n) non-phelometric method. "
