Ministry of Foreign Affairs
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that on 30 June 1997 the Agreement between the Government of the Czech Republic and the Government of Ukraine on the conditions for completion of implementation after 1 January 1992 in the territory of Ukraine "Agreement between the Government of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic and the Government of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics on cooperation in the adoption of the Jamburg gas site, the construction of the Jamburg Long-Range Gas pipeline - the western border of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics and the objects of the Ural Gas Complex and the associated gas supplies from the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics to the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic" of 16 December 1985.
The Agreement entered into force on 20 August 1999.
