DECLARATION
Ministry of Agriculture
of 11 November 1996
on the fields of secondary education and the duration of professional experience as qualification criteria for business in the field of plant health
The Ministry of Agriculture, after consulting the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, provides, pursuant to § 45 (2) of Act No. 147 / 1996 Coll., on Phytosanitary Care and Amendments to Certain Related Acts (hereinafter referred to as "the Act"):
In the field of plant health care in the field of diagnostic, testing and advisory activities in the field of plant protection, persons who have a full secondary vocational training in plant health or phytopathology and at least five years of experience in plant protection may take part in the trade.
(1
(a) full secondary vocational training in one of the following fields:
1. phytosanitary or phytopathology;
2. cultivation,
3. gardening,
4. wine-growing;
5. hops,
6. mechanisation,
7. forestry
or
(b) full secondary education
and experience in plant protection.
(2) The duration of the practice is:
(a) if the field referred to in paragraph 1 (a) (1) is at least three years old,
(b) if the other fields referred to in paragraph 1 (a) or persons with a full secondary education are at least ten years old, or if the person concerned has carried out a comitology examination (1) from the subject of plant health or plant protection at secondary professional schools of the fields of cultivation, horticulture, wine-growing, hop or forestry, at least five years.
In the field of control testing of plant protection devices, persons who have:
(a) full secondary or secondary vocational education in one of the following fields:
1. phytosanitary or phytopathology;
2. cultivation,
3. gardening,
4. mechanisation,
5. forestry
or
(b) full secondary education
and two years of experience in the operation and adjustment of plant protection devices.
This Decree shall take effect on 1 January 1997.
