GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 12 October 2015
on the occupation of members of the Prison Service of the Czech Republic in the period up to 29 February 2016
The Government orders pursuant to § 22 paragraphs 1 and 2 of Act No. 273 / 2008 Coll., on the Police of the Czech Republic, and pursuant to § 24a of Act No. 555 / 1992 Coll., on the Prison Service and the Judicial Guard of the Czech Republic, as amended by Act No. 436 / 2003 Coll. and Act No. 274 / 2008 Coll.:
In order to fulfil the tasks of the Police of the Czech Republic in ensuring internal order and security in connection with the current situation in the field of illegal migration, a maximum of 70 members of the Czech Prison Service are called.
Members of the Prison Service of the Czech Republic shall carry out the duties under Section 1 under the command of a member of the Police of the Czech Republic. Members of the Prison Service of the Czech Republic shall carry out the duties imposed on weapons and means of enforcement to the extent set out in Section 4.
The Director General of the Prison Service of the Czech Republic shall appoint members of the Prison Service of the Czech Republic, including equipment and equipment, to perform the tasks referred to in § 1.
The members of the Prison Service of the Czech Republic called to perform the tasks of the Police of the Czech Republic pursuant to § 1 have the authority and duties of a member of the Police of the Czech Republic to the extent set out in § 2, 3, 9, 10 to 13, 18, 24 to 27, 34, 34a, 35, 37, 40 to 43, 51 to 59, 62, 63, 110, 111, 114 and § 115 of Act No. 273 / 2008 Coll., on the Police of the Czech Republic, as amended, and to the extent set out in § 163 (1) (h) and § 2 (e) and (f) of Act No. 326 / 1999 Coll., on the residence of foreigners in the Czech Republic and amending certain laws, as amended.
(1) This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 November 2015.
(2) This Regulation shall expire on 29 February 2016.
