GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 8 December 2014
on the occupation of soldiers in active duty to carry out the tasks of the Police of the Czech Republic in the period until 30 June 2015
The Government orders pursuant to § 22 paragraphs 1 and 2 of Act No. 273 / 2008 Coll., on the Police of the Czech Republic, and pursuant to Act No. 219 / 1999 Coll., on the Armed Forces of the Czech Republic, as amended:
In order to carry out the tasks of the Police of the Czech Republic in order to ensure internal order and security in order to protect the lives, health and property of persons in connection with the explosions of munitions warehouses in Vrbětice, 450 soldiers are called in active duty.
Soldiers in active service carry out tasks under Section 1 under the command of a member of the Police of the Czech Republic. Soldiers in active duty shall carry out the duties imposed on weapons and means of enforcement to the extent set out in Section 4.
The Minister of Defence shall designate soldiers in active service, including military equipment and equipment, to carry out the tasks referred to in Section 1.
Soldiers in active service called for the performance of tasks of the Police of the Czech Republic pursuant to § 1 have the authority and duties of a member of the Police of the Czech Republic to the extent set out in § 2, 3, 9, 10 to 13, 18, 20, 24 to 27, 34, 34a, 35, 37, 40 to 43, 51 to 59, 62, 63, 110, 111, 114 and § 115 of Act No. 273 / 2008 Coll., on the Police of the Czech Republic, as amended.
Government Decree No. 236 / 2014 Coll., on the occupation of soldiers in active duty to carry out tasks of the Police of the Czech Republic in the period until 31 January 2015 is hereby repealed.
(1) This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its publication.
(2) This Regulation shall expire on 30 June 2015.
