DECLARATION
of 31 July 2008
on the issue of commemorative silver CZK 200 for the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Czech Ice Hockey Union
The Czech National Bank provides pursuant to § 22 (a) of Act No. 6 / 1993 Coll., on the Czech National Bank, as amended by Act No. 442 / 2000 Coll.:
(1) On the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Czech Ice Hockey Union, commemorative silver two hundred crowns (hereinafter referred to as "two hundred crowns") are issued. The picture of the two hundred crown is given in the annex to this decree.
(2) Two hundred koruna is issued in the normal version and in a special version intended for collector's purposes with a polished field of coin and matte relief (hereinafter referred to as the special version).
(3) Two hundred korona in normal and special design is rolled from an alloy containing 900 parts of silver and 100 parts of copper. The weight of two hundred crowns is 13 g, its diameter is 31 mm and its strength is 2,5 mm. The edge of two hundred crowns in normal version is serrated, the edge of two hundred crowns in special version is smooth with the feature "CZECH NATIONAL BANKA * Ag 0.900 * 13 g *." In the case of an embossing of two hundred crowns in normal and special design, the tolerance shall be 0,1 mm in diameter and 0,15 mm in thickness. In mass, the tolerance shall be up to 0,26 g and in the silver content shall be up to 1%.
(1) There's a hockey figure on the cheek of a 200 crown. At the left and right edges of the two hundred crowns, the name of the State "CZECH REPUBLIC" is in an unclosed copy. The denomination of the coin with the acronym of the money unit "200 CZK" is at the bottom edge of the two hundred koruna. At the left edge of the two-hundredth crown next to the hockey skate, the mint that drove the two-hundredth crown is separated by a dot from the name of the state.
(2) On the back of the two hundred crown is a stylized representation of the World Cup of Ice Hockey Champions, in which the logo of the Czech Ice Hockey Association is inserted. The unclosed copy of "CZECH SWAP OF LEVEL HOKES" is part of the logo. At the bottom edge of the two-hundred crown, the two rows of the years are "1908 - 2008," which are separated from each other by the part of the base of the World Ice Hockey Championship Cup. Above the year "1908" are the initials of the author of the two hundred crown, academic sculptor Zbyňek Fojt, which are composed of joined letters "FZ."
This Decree shall take effect on 20 August 2008.
