Government Regulation amending the Railway Transport Regulations again

Government Regulation
of 6 December 1949
amending the railway transport schedule again.
The Government of the Czechoslovak Republic orders pursuant to § 85, paragraph 1 of the Act of 20 May 1937, No. 86 Coll., on Railways (Railway Act):
Čl. I.
The Railway Transport Regulations (LRU) annexed to the Government Decree of 21 December 1945, No 1 Coll. of 1946 establishing the Railway Transport Regulations, as amended by Articles I, 1 to 8 and 20 to 27 of the Government Decree of 27 January 1948, No 19 Coll., and the Government Order of 23 November 1948, No 287 Coll., are again amended as follows:
1. Article 19 (1) reads as follows:
"Section 1. Passengers must take care of themselves to board or transfer to the right train at the designated points and on the right side of the boarding station, as well as to leave the train at the destination station, or, if the train does not stop there, in front of the station. When the train is in motion, passengers shall not open the door of the vehicle, deviate from the windows, climb or board, or stay on the platforms, connecting bridges and platforms of the vehicle, even if the use of the connecting bridge or stay on the platforms is not expressly permitted. '

"Upon receipt of the express gear, the railway shall issue to the sender a second copy of the express ticket, unless otherwise specified by the fare. '

"Section 9. The shipper is obliged to supply the goods at the time specified by the fare or notice in the station; outside that period, only with the consent of a station which is entitled to charge a fee imposed by a fare or notice in the station. ';
4.
"Section 10. A free storage period or a standstill period (§ 5) and a loading period (§ 6) shall be suspended during the period of application of customs, financial, police or other administrative authorities, provided that the performance has not been delayed by the consignor, a free storage period or a period free of duty also on Sundays, on legal holidays or memorial days. The railway can declare, with the approval of the supervisory authority, that the loading period is also built on Sundays, holidays or memorial days; Such establishment of a time limit shall not, however, apply to consignments for which the carriage was specifically ordered on Sunday, a lawful holiday or a memorable day. ';
5. Article 67 (5) reads as follows:
"Section 5. The removal and removal of consignments, in the case of § 2, including unloading of consignments, shall be carried out by the consignee at the time specified by the fare or notice in the station; outside that period, only with the consent of a station which is entitled to charge a fee imposed by a fare or notice in the station. ';
6. Article 67 (6) reads as follows:
"Section 6. The period free of warehousing or the period free of duty (§ 1) and the period of unloading (§ 2) shall be suspended during the period of application of the rules of customs, financial, police or other administrative offices, provided that the performance has not been delayed by the consignor or consignee, the period free of warehousing or the period free of charge also on Sundays, on statutory holidays or memorial days. The railway can declare, with the approval of the supervisory authority, that on Sunday, on holidays or memorial days the landing period is also built. '
7. Article 68, § 4, last sentence is deleted.
Čl. II.
The validity of Articles 60, § 6 and 13 as well as Article 67, § 2, 7 and 9 of the GPA shall be renewed as specified in the GPA annexed to Decree No 1 / 1946 Coll.
Čl. III.
On 31 December 1949 the provisions of Articles I, 9 to 19 of the Decree of 27 January 1948, No 19 Coll., amending and supplementing the Railway Regulations shall cease to apply.
Čl. IV.
This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 January 1950 and shall be implemented by the Minister for Transport.
