DECLARATION

of 12 January 2009

on the declaration of the National Nature Reserve of the Boubino Forest and the establishment of its closer protection conditions

The Ministry of the Environment provides pursuant to § 79 (3) (c) of Act No. 114 / 1992 Coll., on Nature and Landscape Conservation, as amended by Act No. 218 / 2004 Coll. and Act No. 312 / 2008 Coll.:

§ 1

Subject matter

(1) The National Nature Reserve of the Boubín Forest (hereinafter referred to as the "National Nature Reserve") is hereby declared.

(2) The object of the protection are natural forest crops of the 5th to 8th degree of vegetation in the Boubina massif with the presence of rare and endangered species of plants and animals consisting primarily of acidic, red and crane spruce (Piceetum acidophillum, Acereto- Piceetum humidum, Piceetum saxatile, Sorbeto- Picetum), acidic, fresh and moist beech spruce (the Fageto- Picetum mesotrophicum, Fageto- Picetum lapidosum acidophyllum, Fageto- Picetum humidum acerosum, Fageto- Picetum acetum acidophylum) and niac, fresh, fresh and humid-morphorescent cells (the Aceri-Picetopoietum ladosum). The protection also covers the natural habitat types and species for which another legislation1) the European site of Šumava has been declared and located in the territory of the national nature reserve.

§ 2

Definition of the national nature reserve

The national nature reserve is situated in the territory of the South Bohemia region in the cadastral territories of Beelá pod Boubin and Horní Vltavice. The national natural reserve boundaries shall be determined by a closed geometric pattern with direct sides whose vertices are determined by the coordinates of the single trigonometric network system of the cadastral2). The list of coordinates of the vertices of the geometric pattern as they follow in the pattern is given in Annex 1 to this decree. An indicative graphical representation of the territory of the national nature reserve is given in Annex 2 to this decree.

§ 3

Closer protection conditions

Only with the consent of the competent nature conservation authority can the national nature reserve

(a) to make changes to the type of land or the way in which it is used (3);

(b) establish hunting or fishing facilities.

§ 4

Efficacy

This Decree shall take effect on 1 February 2009.
