DECLARATION
of 31 May 2006
laying down a model application for legal assistance in cross-border disputes within the European Union and a model for the transmission of a request for legal assistance in cross-border disputes within the European Union
According to Article 13 of Act No. 629 / 2004 Coll., the Ministry of Justice provides for the provision of legal assistance in cross-border disputes within the European Union ("the Act '):
The model of the application for legal assistance in cross-border disputes within the framework of the European Union( 1) pursuant to Article 2 (1) (b) of the Act is set out in Annex 1 to this Decree.
The model for the transmission of a request for legal assistance in cross-border disputes within the framework of the European Union2) pursuant to § 9 (1) (b) of the Act is set out in Annex 2 to this Decree.
This decree shall take effect on the day of its publication.

Model for the transmission of a request for legal assistance in cross-border disputes within the European Union
1) Commission Decision 2004 / 844 / EC of 9 November 2004 establishing a standard form for applications for legal aid in accordance with Council Directive 2003 / 8 / EC on improving access to justice in cross-border disputes by laying down minimum common rules for legal assistance in such disputes.
2) Commission Decision 2005 / 630 / EC of 26 August 2005 establishing, in accordance with Council Directive 2003 / 8 / EC, a form for the transmission of a request for legal aid.
