THE LAW
of 3 July 2025
amending Act No 18 / 2004 Coll., on the Recognition of Professional Qualifications and Other Eligibility of Nationals of Member States of the European Union and of Certain Members of other States and amending certain Acts (Act on the Recognition of Professional Qualifications), as amended
Parliament has decided on this law of the Czech Republic:
Act No. 18 / 2004 Coll., on the recognition of professional qualifications and other competences of nationals of Member States of the European Union and of certain nationals of other States and amending certain laws (Act on the Recognition of Professional Qualifications), as amended by Act No. 96 / 2004 Coll., Act No. 588 / 2004 Coll., Act No. 21 / 2006 Coll., Act No. 161 / 2006 Coll., Act No. 189 / 2008 Coll., Act No. 52 / 2012 Coll., Act No. 101 / 2014 Coll., Act No. 126 / 2016 Coll., Act No. 222 / 2017 Coll., Act No. 176 / 2019 Coll., Act No. 261 / 2021 Coll., and Act No. 52 / 2025 Coll., is amended as follows:
1. In Paragraph 22 (1), after the second sentence, the sentence "The recognition authority shall, within 30 days of the date of receipt of the application for recognition of professional qualifications, confirm receipt of the application or, within the same period, invite the tenderer to remedy the defects of the application."
2. In Article 24 (2), at the end of the first sentence, the words "and at the same time inform the applicant of his legal status, in particular as regards the right to permanent residence and obligations, social rights and benefits, allowances and remuneration 'and in the second sentence, the words" Article 10 (2) and (3) and (v)' are inserted after the words "listed in '.
Transitional provision
The procedure for the recognition of professional qualifications which was not definitively completed before the date of entry into force of this Act shall be completed in accordance with existing legislation.
Efficacy
This Act shall take effect on the day following its publication.
