THE LAW
of 6 August 2003
amending Act No. 458 / 2000 Coll., on the Terms and Conditions of Business and on the Enforcement of Government Administration in the Energy Sector and on the Amendment of Certain Laws (Energy Act), as amended
Parliament has decided on this law of the Czech Republic:
Act No. 458 / 2000 Coll., on the Terms and Conditions of Business and on the Enforcement of State Administration in the Energy Sector and on the Amendment of Certain Laws (Energy Act), as amended by Act No. 151 / 2002 Coll., Act No. 262 / 2002 Coll. and Act No. 309 / 2002 Coll., is amended as follows:
1. in Article 21 (2) (c) and (d), including footnote 4 (a):
"(c) from 1 January 2004, eligible customers shall be all final customers whose point of demand is equipped with continuous measurement of electricity consumption, 4a) outside the household;
(d) from 1 January 2005, eligible customers are all final customers outside the household;
4a) Decree No. 218 / 2001 Coll., laying down the details of electricity measurements and transmission of technical data. '
2. in Article 21 (2), the following point (e) is added:
"(e) from 1 January 2006 all final customers are eligible customers."
3. In Article 21, the following paragraph 4 is added:
"(4) Concomitant supply contracts may be concluded at the earliest from the date referred to in Paragraph 55 (2) (b)."
Transitional provision
The parallel supply of electricity and gas under contracts concluded at the date of application of this Act shall be governed by existing rules.
Efficacy
This Act shall take effect on the day of its publication.
