on the Christmas allowance to pensioners who are entitled to arrangements under the Law on the care of military and war victims and victims of war and fascist persecution.
The National Assembly of the Czechoslovak Republic decided on the following Act:
To pensioners who are entitled in December 1948 to receive benefits under the Law of 18 July 1946, No. 164 Coll., on care of military and war victims and war victims and fascist persecution (hereinafter referred to as "the law"), a one-off Christmas allowance (hereinafter referred to as "the contribution") shall be granted under other provisions for 1948.
(1) The allowance shall be at least 45%, 500 CZK, for an invalid whose ability to earn is reduced by the last legal measure of the State Office of War Damage.
(2) The allowance shall be increased by 150 CZK for each child to whom an invalidity allowance is payable under Section 21 of the Act.
(3) An increase of 250 Kčs in the amount of the aid granted to the Invalides which have received a treatment or blind premium under Article 19 of the Act.
The survivors' allowance shall be:
(a) for a widow, mate and widower 400 CZK,
(b) for another survivor 300 CZK.
The contribution shall not include:
1. to beneficiaries of retirement and provision salaries provided by public funds;
2. Beneficiaries of national insurance pensions, excluding beneficiaries of social pensions and persons who receive accident pensions for accidents causing loss of professional capacity by less than 50%,
3. persons who receive benefits abroad; and
4. staff members entitled to a Christmas allowance in 1948.
The allowance is exempt from payroll tax.
The State Offices for War Damage, which shall carry out the allowance voucher, shall be entitled to deduct the contribution which has been wrongly received by the pensioner from the normal provision benefits of the pensioner.
This Law shall take effect on 1 December 1948; It shall be carried out by the Minister for Social Welfare.
