THE LAW
of 2 July 2025
amending Act No. 482 / 2020 Coll., on the compensation of certain victims of repression of demonstrations on the first anniversary of the occupation of Czechoslovakia by the troops of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, the German Democratic Republic, the Polish People's Republic, the Hungarian People's Republic and the Bulgarian People's Republic
Parliament has decided on this law of the Czech Republic:
Act No. 482 / 2020 Coll., on the compensation of certain victims of repression of demonstrations on the first anniversary of the occupation of Czechoslovakia by the armies of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, the German Democratic Republic, the Polish People's Republic, the Hungarian People's Republic and the Bulgarian People's Republic, is amended as follows:
1. In Article 2 (2), the words "or partner 'shall be inserted after the word" marriage'; the words "partnership or registered partnership 'shall be inserted after the word" spouse'; the words' shall be added at the end of the text of the paragraph; unless parents are entitled to become siblings of that person '.
2. In Article 2, at the end of the text of paragraph 4, the words "; if not parents, the siblings of that person shall become entitled persons' shall be added.
Efficacy
This Act shall take effect on the day following its publication.
