on one-off exceptional allowances for National Insurance pensions for 1948.
The National Assembly of the Czechoslovak Republic decided on the following Act:
(1) The following one-off allowances shall be granted in respect of national insurance pensions to which he is entitled in December 1948:
| k důchodům invalidnímu, starobnímu a k důchodu úrazovému, byla-li úrazem způsobena ztráta aspoň 50 % výdělečné schopnosti | 500 Kčs, |
| k důchodům vdovskému a vdoveckému a k důchodu družky | 400 Kčs, |
| k důchodům sirotčímu, rodičů a jiných pozůstalých | 300 Kčs, |
| k výchovnému | 150 Kčs. |
(2) Where the beneficiary ingests several of the pensions referred to in paragraph 1, only one allowance shall be granted to him and to the highest extent. The allowance shall not be payable to employed pensioners who are entitled to a Christmas allowance in 1948.
No allowance shall be granted for pensions paid abroad.
Incorrectly received allowances shall be authorised by the Central National Insurance Corporation to deduct from the current pension or other benefit to which the same beneficiary is entitled.
The allowances under this Act are exempt from payroll tax.
The costs of paying allowances under this Act shall be borne by the Central National Insurance Corporation.
This Law shall take effect on 1 December 1948; It shall be carried out by the Minister for Social Welfare.
