DECLARATION
of 31 July 2003
on the issue of gold coins "Baroque - castle Buchlovice" for CZK 2,000
The Czech National Bank provides for the Czech National Bank in accordance with § 22 (a) of Act No. 6 / 1993 Coll., on the Czech National Bank:
(1) On 24 September 2003, the Gold Coins "Baroque - Buchlovice Castle" are issued for CZK 2,000 (hereinafter referred to as "coins") as part of the "Ten Century of Architecture."
(2) Coins are issued in the ordinary version and in a special version intended for collector's purposes with a polished field of coins and matt relief (hereinafter referred to as the special version).
(3) Coins are rolled of gold of purity 999.9. The weight of the coin is 6.22 g, its diameter is 20 mm and its strength is 1.55 mm. The coin edge in the normal version is serrated, the coin edge in the special version is smooth. When the coin is embossed in normal and special design, the tolerance is 0,1 mm in diameter and 0,15 mm in thickness. In weight, the tolerance allowed up to 0,062 g and in gold purity the tolerance up to 0,01%.
(1) On the front side there are stylized heraldic animals at the top of the coin from the great state emblem of the Czech Republic. The Czech lion is in the middle between the Moravian eagle (right) and the Silesian eagle (left) and is located higher than both eagles. Under heraldic animals, the name of the state "CZECH REPUBLIC" is in the row and under it is also in the row the name of the cycle "DESET STOLET ARCHITECTURE." Both texts are in italics and all initial letters of each word are large. Under the texts is depicted one of the two buildings of the Buchlovický castle called the top lock. At the bottom edge of the coin in the middle is the denomination of the coin with the abbreviation "CZK 2,000." The coin tag that hit the coin is placed at the bottom right edge of the coin.
(2) The main castle building called the lower castle is shown on the reverse side. Above the building is the italic inscription "BARROKO" and below it is also the italic inscription "FUCHLOVICE POINT." The initial letters of all words are large. At the bottom edge of the coin in the middle is the year "2003," indicating the year of the stamping. The author of the coin design is Jakub Vlček, whose copyright is placed at the bottom right edge of the coin.
This Decree shall take effect on 15 September 2003.
