transferring financial guards in the customs border zone to the National Security Corps.
The National Assembly of the Czechoslovak Republic decided on the following Act:
§ 1.
The scope of the customs border guard shall, with the exception of the performance of ancillary services at customs offices, pass to the National Security Corps; further exemptions may be set by the Government by regulation.
§ 2.
The Government shall determine the performance of the service referred to in Article 1 by means of a regulation. Until this happens, the existing regulations are in force with changes under this law.
§ 3.
The Minister for the Interior shall, in agreement with the Minister for Finance, designate the members of the Financial Guard to be transferred to the National Security Corps and shall adjust the details of the transfer.
§ 4.
(1) This Act shall take effect on 1 January 1949. However, preparations for its implementation may be made before that date; in particular they may be issued before that date by a government regulation pursuant to Sections 1 and 2 and measures taken pursuant to Section 3.
(2) This law will be implemented by the Home and Finance Ministers.
