THE LAW
of 15 October 1993
on certain conditions for the production, dissemination and archiving of audiovisual works, amending and supplementing certain laws and regulations
Parliament has decided on this law of the Czech Republic:
Amendment to Act No. 455 / 1991 Coll., on Business Business (Trade Act), as amended
Act No. 455 / 1991 Coll., on Business Business (Trade Code Act), as amended by Act No. 231 / 1992 Coll., Act No. 591 / 1992 Coll. and Act No. 600 / 1992 Coll., is amended as follows:
1. in footnote 1 to § 3 (1) (a), the words "§ 1 (1) of the President of the Republic No. 50 / 1945 Coll., on measures in the field of film" shall be deleted;
2. In Article 3 (1) (c) (9), the words "film and other audiovisual 'are deleted.
Transitional and final provisions
The state organizations Barrandov Film Studio - Copyright and Zlín Film Studio - Copyright, which exercise the copyright of the cinematographic works producer, 19) are merged with the Fund on the date of effectiveness of this Act; as legal successor to the Fund, transfer their rights and obligations from property and other relationships, including intellectual property rights and obligations. This shall be without prejudice to the right of management belonging to the Archive to all original media from which such rights and obligations arise.
Sections 1, 3 (2) and 4 of Decree President of the Republic No 50 / 1945 Coll., on measures in the field of film are repealed.
This Act shall take effect on the day of its publication.
