of 19 December 1949
on continuous rural electrification.
The National Assembly of the Czechoslovak Republic decided on the following Act:
The continuous electrification of rural areas under this law means the continuous construction of transformation stations, secondary distribution networks and home connections, which are carried out in rural areas according to a single economic plan.
The continuous electrification of the countryside does not include the construction of public lighting equipment.
(1) National energy undertakings carry out continuous rural electricity as investors.
(2) National energy undertakings are neither investors of the installations referred to in Section 2 nor cover their construction, operation and maintenance costs.
(1) Private local participants are obliged to pay 25% of the costs associated with the construction of the equipment pursuant to § 1.
(2) Private local participants are private owners of buildings, real estate or enterprises that can be connected within the proposed grid.
(3) For territories damaged by occupation or war activity, and for economically weak areas and locations, the Regional National Committee may, under the guidelines of the Ministry of Industry issued in agreement with the Ministry of Agriculture and Finance, grant relief from the provisions of paragraph 1.
(1) The amount of contributions by individual private local participants to cover part of the costs referred to in Article 4 shall be determined by the district national committee after hearing the single agricultural cooperative. In doing so, it shall ensure that small and medium-sized farmers and those who are socially weak are granted adequate relief.
(2) The contributions are collected and the Fund for the National Economy shall be paid by the Regional National Committee or by the single agricultural cooperative.
(3) The Ministry of Industry may, in agreement with the Ministry of Agriculture, adapt the guidelines for the allocation, collection and collection of contributions.
The Act of 1 July 1926, No 139 Coll., on financial support for rural electrification, as amended by the Act of 28 June 1928, No 112 Coll., of 22 March 1929, No 46 Coll., of 18 December 1946, No 235 Coll., and the Act of 27 January 1942, No 12 Coll. on support for continuous electrification, shall be repealed.
This Law shall take effect on 1 January 1949; It shall be implemented by the Minister of Industry in agreement with the Ministers involved.
