DECLARATION
of 6 September 2010
on the issue of a commemorative silver two hundred crown for the 100th anniversary of the birth of Karl Zeman
The Czech National Bank provides pursuant to § 22 (a) of Act No. 6 / 1993 Coll., on the Czech National Bank, as amended by Act No. 442 / 2000 Coll.:
(1) On 27 October 2010, the 100th anniversary of the birth of film director Karel Zeman is issued a commemorative silver two hundred crown (hereinafter referred to as "two hundred crown").
(2) Two hundred koruna is issued in the normal version and in a special version with polished field of coin and matte relief (hereinafter "special version").
(3) Two hundred korona in normal and special design is rolled from an alloy containing 900 parts of silver and 100 parts of copper. The weight of the 2-hundredth crown is 13 g, its diameter 31 mm and the force 2,3 mm. In the case of an embossing of two hundred crowns in normal and special design, the tolerance shall be 0,1 mm in diameter and 0,15 mm in thickness. In mass, the tolerance shall be up to 0,26 g and in the silver content shall be up to 1%. The edge of two hundred crowns in normal version is serrated, the edge of two hundred crowns in special version is smooth with the feature "CZECH NATIONAL BANKA * Ag 0.900 * 13 g *."
(1) On the face of the 200 crown is the composition of the characters from the films Karl Zeman - in front is the wizard from the film "The Wizard's Apprentice," left behind him Honzik and Gretel from the film "The Story of Honzik and Gretel" and right behind him is Sinbad from the film "The Fairy Thousand and One Night." Behind the characters from Karel Zeman's films, the film tape shows the nominal value of the coin with the abbreviation "200 CZK" and the state name "CZECH REPUBLIC." The brand of the Czech Mint consisting of the composition of the letters "No" and "M" is placed at the right edge of the coin next to the character Sinbad.
(2) On the back of the 200 crown is a composition of motifs from the films Karl Zeman - a submarine, octopus, and caves from the film "the invention of destruction" and an airship from the film "the stolen airship." In the middle of the coin field next to the picture of the airship is the inscription "KAREL ZEMAN" and the years "1910 - 2010." At the bottom edge of the two hundred crown is the mark of the author of the two hundred crown, Lenka of Heaven, DiS., which consists of the letters "L" and "N."
(3) The picture of the two hundred crown is given in the annex to this decree.
This Decree takes effect on 27 October 2010.
