DECLARATION
of 6 September 2010
on the issue of the gold coin "National cultural monument of Michal mine in Ostrava" for CZK 2,500
The Czech National Bank provides pursuant to § 22 (a) of Act No. 6 / 1993 Coll., on the Czech National Bank, as amended by Act No. 442 / 2000 Coll.:
§ 1
(1) On 6 October 2010, a gold coin "National Cultural Monument of the Michal Mine in Ostrava" is issued as part of the cycle "Cultural Monuments of the Technical Heritage."
(2) Coins are issued in the ordinary version and in a special version with a polished field of the coin and a matt relief (hereinafter referred to as the special version).
(3) Coins in normal and special design are made of gold of purity 999.9. The weight of the coin is 7.78 g, its diameter is 22 mm and its strength is 1.6 mm. When the coin is embossed in both normal and special versions, the tolerance is 0,1 mm in diameter and 0,15 mm in thickness. In mass, the tolerance up to 0,062 g is allowed and in gold purity the tolerance up to 0,01%. The coin edge in the normal version is serrated, the coin edge in the special version is smooth.
§ 2
(1) On the front side of the coin, an electric motor-powered heavy machinery is represented on the semi-circular section. On the right edge of the section is the Czech Mint brand, which consists of composing the letters "No" and "M" and in the lower part of the section there is a negative symbol of the denomination of the coin with the abbreviation "2500 CZK." Above the heavy machinery is the name of the state "CZECH REPUBLIC" and composition of heraldic animals from a large state character. In the middle is a Czech lion, on the right is a Silesian eagle and on the left is a Moravian eagle. On the perimeter of the coin is the name of the cycle "CULTURAL MEMORIES OF TECHNICAL GRANDFATHER" which is marked with dots on the edges.
(2) On the back of the coin is the mining tower down Michal. Under the representation of the mining tower is the year of the "2010" stamping. At the left and right edges of the coin, there is an unclosed copy of "DOSE MICHAL IN STRAVA." At the right edge of the coin under the copy, the initials of the author of the graphic design of the coin, the academic sculptor Zbyňek Fojt, are placed, which are formed by the associated letters "F" and "Z."
(3) The coin is shown in the annex to this decree.
§ 3
This Decree takes effect on 6 October 2010.
