DECLARATION
of 11 May 2006
on the issue of commemorative silver CZK 200 for the 500th anniversary of the death of Matìj Rejska
The Czech National Bank provides for the Czech National Bank in accordance with § 22 (a) of Act No. 6 / 1993 Coll., on the Czech National Bank:
(1) On the 500th anniversary of the death of the significant Czech Gothic builder and stonemason Matìj Rejska, commemorative silver two hundred crowns (hereinafter referred to as "two hundred crowns") are issued. The coin is shown in the annex to this decree.
(2) Two hundred koruna is issued in the normal version and in a special version intended for collector's purposes with a polished field of coin and matte relief (hereinafter referred to as the special version).
(3) The two-hundred koruna in normal and special design is cut from an alloy containing 900 parts of silver and 100 parts of copper. The weight of the two-hundredth crown is 13 g, its diameter 31 mm and its strength 2.4 mm. The edge of two hundred crowns in normal version is serrated, the edge of two hundred crowns in special version is smooth with the feature "CZECH NATIONAL BANKA * Ag 0.900 * 13 g *." In the case of stamping of two hundred crowns in normal and special design, the tolerance is 0,1 mm in diameter and 0,15 mm in thickness. In the mass, the allowed tolerance is up to 0,26 g and in the silver content is up to 1%.
(1) On the face of the two hundred crowns is depicted a pulpit from the church of St. Lawrence in Kaňka, which is the work of Matthew Rejska. At the left edge of the two hundred crown is an unclosed copy with the name of the State "CZECH REPUBLIC," at the right lower edge also in the unclosed copy the denomination of the coin with the abbreviation "200 CZK." At the top right, there's a mint mark that drove a two-hundredth crown.
(2) On the reverse of two hundred crowns there is a self-portrait of Matìj Rejska from the Powder Gate in Prague. At the left and lower edges of the two hundred crowns, the unclosed copy of "MOTHER REJSEK ● 1506 - 2006." The author of the design of the two hundred crown is the academic sculptor Zbyněch Fojt, whose initials, connected letters "FZ" are located at the top right edge of the two hundred crown.
This Decree shall take effect on 21 June 2006.
