DECLARATION
Czech National Banks

on the issue of commemorative silver CZK 200 for the 650th anniversary of the foundation of the monastery Na Slovany - Emauzy
The Czech National Bank provides according to § 22 (a) of the Act of the Czech National Council No. 6 / 1993 Coll., on the Czech National Bank:
(1) The 650th anniversary of the founding of the Benedict monastery with the Old Slovakian liturgy on Slovany, also known as the Emmauses, is issued with commemorative silver two hundred crowns (hereinafter referred to as "two hundred crowns").
(2) Two hundred koruna is issued in the normal version and in a special version intended for collector's purposes with a polished field of coin and matte relief (hereinafter referred to as the special version).
(3) Two hundred korona in normal and special design is rolled from an alloy containing 900 parts of silver and 100 parts of copper. The weight of two hundred crowns is 13 g, its diameter is 31 mm and its strength is 2.50 mm. The edge of two hundred crowns in normal design is serrated, the edge of two hundred crowns in special design is smooth. In the case of two-hundredth stamping in normal and special design, the tolerance allowed shall be 0,1 mm in diameter and 0,15 mm in thickness. In the mass, the allowed tolerance is up to 0,26 g and in the silver content is up to 1%.
(1) A stylized large state emblem of the Czech Republic without a shield is located on the front of the two-hundred crown in the upper right part of the coin field. The name of the State "CZECH REPUBLIC" is in an unclosed copy at the edges of the two hundred crowns. The denomination of the coin with the abbreviation "200 CZK" is placed in the line under the national character. Against the background of the name of the state and the denomination of the coin with the abbreviation of the money unit is a stylized representation of the towers of the monastery Na Slovany. The mark of the mint that struck the two hundred crown is placed to the right of the letter "L 'in the name of the State.
(2) On the reverse of the two hundred crowns is a fragment of the fresco Announcement of the Virgin Mary from the monastery Na Slovany. At the right and lower edges of the two hundred crown, the unclosed copy "CLASTER ON SLOVANS" is also an unclosed copy "EMAUZY" at the upper left edge. Below this copy and to the right of it are the years "1347" and "1997." The author of the two-hundred crown design is academic sculptor Jiří Harcuba. The initials "H" are placed at the left edge of the two hundred crown between the flowers in the weight of the fresco fragment.
This Decree takes effect on 19 November 1997.
