GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 16 September 2024
on the use of the Army of the Czech Republic between 17 September 2024 and 30 November 2024 to deal with the consequences of the disaster caused by floods in the Czech Republic
The Government orders pursuant to § 16 paragraph 4 of Act No. 219 / 1999 Coll., on the Armed Forces of the Czech Republic, as amended by Act No. 546 / 2005 Coll.:
A maximum of 1 000 soldiers in active duty shall be used in the period from 17 September 2024 to 30 November 2024 to deal with the disaster caused by floods in the Czech Republic.
The Minister of Defence shall designate soldiers in active service, including military equipment, to carry out the tasks referred to in § 1.
(1) This Regulation shall enter into force on 17 September 2024.
(2) This Regulation shall expire on 30 November 2024.
