approving the Czech Territorial Development Policy 2008
The Ministry of Regional Development announces that the Government of the Czech Republic approved the material "Draft Regional Development Policy of the Czech Republic 2008" at its meeting on 20 July 2009 by Government Resolution No. 929 / 2009.
The policy of territorial development of the Czech Republic 2008 was taken by the Ministry of Local Development on the basis of Act No. 183 / 2006 Coll., on Territorial Planning and Construction Regulations (Construction Act), as amended, and in accordance with the Government Resolution No. 561 of 17 May 2006 approving the Regional Development Policy of the Czech Republic (Department Concept).
The policy of territorial development of the Czech Republic 2008 is a territorial planning instrument, which is used mainly for coordinating territorial development at national level and for coordinating the territorial planning activities of the regions, as well as as as a source of important arguments in promoting the interests of the Czech Republic within the framework of the territorial development of the European Union.
The report on the application of the Regional Development Policy of the Czech Republic 2006 and Evaluation of the Effects of the Regional Development Policy of the Czech Republic 2008 on the Sustainable Development of the Territories is also part of the government approved material.
