DECLARATION
Ministry of Defence
of 5 November 1999
laying down the qualification conditions for the classification of professional soldiers
According to § 3 (2) (b) of Act No. 221 / 1999 Coll., on professional soldiers:
Qualification assumptions
(1) The qualification requirement is education1) required for the performance of the service in the relevant service classification.
(2) The required training for the performance of the service in the relevant service classification is in the evaluation body:
(a) candidates for enrollment - basic or secondary vocational education,
(b) waiting officers - full secondary or full secondary vocational education,
c) Rotmasters with established rank and master - basic education,
d) Rotmasters with established rank of master and staff sergeant - secondary vocational education,
(e) Ensign with a defined rank of Ensign, Ensign, Ensign and Staff Ensign - full secondary or full secondary vocational education;
(f) junior officers with a designated rank Lieutenant, Lieutenant, Lieutenant Commander - full secondary or full secondary vocational education;
(g) junior officers with appointed rank as captain - university education in the Bachelor's study programme;
(h) senior officers with a designated rank of Major, Lieutenant Colonel, Colonel - Higher Education in Master's Degree Program;
(i) generals with a defined rank as Brigadier General, Major General, Lieutenant General, Military General - Higher Education in Master's study programme.
Transitional provision
A professional soldier who does not meet the qualification requirement for a professional qualification in accordance with § 1 may be so classified as such for a maximum period of 5 years from the entry into force of this Decree.
Efficacy
This Decree shall take effect on 1 December 1999.
