The Ministry of Foreign Affairs states that on 18 September 1995 an Agreement was signed in Jerusalem between the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic and the Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic on the method of accounting for the implementation of the air rescue service.
The Agreement entered into force on 18 September 1995 on the basis of Article III thereof.
The Czech version of the Agreement is hereby published at the same time.

on the method of accounting for the implementation of the air rescue service
The Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic and the Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic (hereinafter referred to as the "Contracting Parties') agreed following the Agreement between the Government of the Czech Republic and the Government of the Slovak Republic for Health Care of 29 October 1992, Article 8 (2), on the method of accounting for the implementation of the air rescue service as follows:
For the purposes of this Agreement, the payment for the indicated primary transport shall be understood only as payment for flight minutes carried out when the patient is removed from the place of first aid. The calculation of the payment shall not include payment for the medical performance provided.
Indicated primary transfers of citizens insured in the Czech Republic carried out in the territory of the Slovak Republic and indicated transfers of insured persons insured in the Slovak Republic carried out in the territory of the Czech Republic under the air rescue service, each Contracting Party shall pay for its insured persons as follows:
(a) indicated primary transfers of citizens insured in the Czech Republic carried out on the territory of the Slovak Republic will be paid by the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic to the transport providers from the state budget upon presentation of the invoice by the transport provider,
b) Indicated primary transfers of insured persons of the Slovak Republic to the territory of the Czech Republic will be paid by the relevant health insurance company, in which the patient is legally insured, within the meaning of the Act of the National Council of the Slovak Republic No. 98 / 1995 Z. z., o Medical Regulations, Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic after the submission of an invoice.
This Agreement shall enter into force on the date of signature by the two Contracting Parties.
Dane in Jerusalem on 18 September 1995 in two original copies, each in the Czech and Slovak languages, the two texts being equally authentic.
