THE LAW
of 16 January 2008
amending Act No. 250 / 2000 Coll., on the budgetary rules of the territorial budgets, as amended
Parliament has decided on this law of the Czech Republic:
Act No. 250 / 2000 Coll., on the budgetary rules of the territorial budgets, as amended by Act No. 320 / 2001 Coll., Act No. 450 / 2001 Coll., Act No. 320 / 2002 Coll., Act No. 421 / 2004 Coll., Act No. 557 / 2004 Coll., Act No. 562 / 2004 Coll., Act No. 635 / 2004 Coll., Act No. 342 / 2005 Coll., Act No. 138 / 2006 Coll., Act No. 140 / 2006 Coll., Act No. 245 / 2006 Coll., and Act No. 270 / 2007 Coll., is amended as follows:
1. In Paragraph 28, the following paragraphs 2 and 3 are inserted after paragraph 1:
"(2) The contribution organisation shall further manage:
(a) with a subsidy to cover the operating expenses covered or to be covered by the budget of the European Union, including a fixed proportion of the State budget to finance such expenditure;
(b) with a subsidy to cover operating expenditure under international agreements whereby funds are entrusted to the Czech Republic from the European Economic Area Financial Mechanism, the Norwegian Financial Mechanism and the Swiss-Czech Cooperation Programme.
(3) If the funds provided under paragraph 2 are not used up by the end of the calendar year, they shall be transferred to the reserve fund as a source of funding in subsequent years and may only be used for the purpose specified. In the reserve fund, these resources shall be monitored separately. Funds which have not been used for the intended purpose shall be subject to financial settlement with the State Budget for the year in which the purpose for which the subsidy was granted has been fulfilled. ';
Paragraphs 2 to 6 shall be renumbered paragraphs 4 to 8.
2. In Article 30, at the end of the text of paragraph 2, the words "and the appropriations carried over under Article 28 (3) 'shall be added.
3. In Article 30 (3), the words "with the exception of funds transferred under Article 28 (3) 'shall be inserted after the word" Fund'.
4. In Article 30 (4), the words "with the exception of funds transferred under Article 28 (3)," shall be inserted after the word "Fund."
Efficacy
This Act shall take effect on the first day of the following month following its publication.
