Ministry of Foreign Affairs
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that on 5 December 1996 the Joint Committee of the European Community and the European Free Trade Association (EC- EFTA) "Common transit procedure" Resolution No 5 / 1996 extending the prohibition on the use of the global guarantee, issued in Brussels by resolutions No 1 / 1996 and No 2 / 1996 of the EC-EFTA Joint Committee "Common transit procedure" .1)
Order No 5 / 1996 entered into force on 5 December 1996 on the basis of Article 2 and thus entered into force for the Czech Republic. The resolution will be implemented from 1 February 1997 for a period of six months.
The text of the resolution can be consulted at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Finance - Directorate-General for Customs, Regional Customs and Customs Offices.
1) The Convention on a common transit procedure between the countries of the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) and the European Economic Community of 20 May 1987 was published under No 179 / 1996 Coll. Resolution No 1 / 1996 and No 2 / 1996 of the Joint Committee of the European Economic Community and of the European Free Trade Association (EEA-EFTA) on the implementation of Article 34 (a) of Annex II of 5 July 1996 were published under No 211 / 1996 Coll.
