DECLARATION
Minister for Finance
of 19 March 1965
on the issue of banknotes of 50 CZK and commemorative silver 25 CZK for the 20th anniversary of the liberation of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic by the Soviet Army
The Minister of Finance declares pursuant to § 3 (2) of Act No. 41 / 1953 Coll., on monetary reform, and under § 2 (2) of Government Decree No. 35 / 1954 Coll., on commemorative coins:
On 1 April 1965, the National Bank of Czechoslovakia banknotes of 50 CZK model 1964 (shape II) shall be put into circulation.
(1) A banknote of 50 CZK model 1964 (shape II) is 74 mm wide and 150 mm long and printed on yellow paper with continuous watermark.
(2) A watermark of paper creates horizontal rows of lime petals with stopwatch throughout its surface, each carrying a five-point star inside. The printing patterns on both the face and the reverse of the banknote occupy almost the entire area of the paper except the watermark edge, which is on the cheek on the left, on the reverse on the right. The whole area of the bill is covered with signatures.
(3) The main printing on the banknote face is made in red. The print pattern is enclosed on all sides by a frame which is filled on the sides and in part and on the top with white guilloche wool mesh; the lower narrower part of the frame is accompanied by a wide, lighter band with repeated small inscriptions in six rows: "PÄTDESIAT KORON OF THE CZECHOSIAN '. In both upper corners and in the lower right corner of the frame is the bright number" 50, "of which the number in the upper right corner is white guilloche rose on the background. In the lower left corner of the frame there is a symbol of sickle and hammer, decorated with a lime smear. The painting within the framework represents in the engraving of the Red Armyans and Partisans at the time of the victory of the Great Patriotic War and the National Resistance against the Occupation. Both fighters, depicted in half of the figures, stand in the landscape of the High Tatras, the part of which is shown in the left part of the image. Above the horizon of the mountains is engraved the state emblem of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic in the guilloche rose, around which the underprints create yellow coloring.
(4) In the upper part of the framework, the first line of the text of the banknote is in bright letters "BANKNOCK LABEL BANK CHESKOSLOVENSKY," below, in the foreground of the Tater panel, the text follows the value marking by:
"PÁTDESIAT
KORON
CZECH LOCAL ';
Under this text in the middle there is a year on the belt with small inscriptions:
"1964"
The text of the banknote continues along the left side of the frame with the sentence:
"FALSCHOVANIA BANKOVIEK TRESCE SA SUBSIDY AND LAW '.
(5) In the middle of the watermark edge on the left is a large, reclining number "50" whose inner area is filled with small numbers "50" in many rows. Above the number "50 ', the denomination of the series of banknotes is in one capital letter of the alphabet and a two-digit number, under the number" 50', is the six-digit serial number of the banknote, both in the colour of vermilion red.
(6) Below the print pattern frame on the banknote face are printed in small letters by the author's name, on the left, the author's name and drawings: "V. FIALA DEL." (drawn) and on the right, the author's name: "L. JIRKA SC." (engraved); in the middle is the company name of the printer and its registered office: "PRAHA PRAHA PRAHA '.
(7) The main print pattern is also printed in red on the back of the banknote. It is bounded on the sides by dark tapes made of white guilloche wool, upper and lower bands with letters. The whole area of the bill is covered with two signatures. The upper tether of the frame is filled with a small, four-repetitive light inscription "PÄTDESIAT KORON OF THE CZECHOSLOVENS." On this framework there are large numbers of "50" in its upper corners, of which the left has a dark-footed guilloche rose in the background, in the lower left-hand corner there is a similar number "50" with an image of the linden in the background; In the lower right corner is a symbol of sickle and hammer in the background of a white guilloche rose. The main print pattern shows in the engraving the part of the race of the Slovnaft national enterprise in Bratislava. In the upper left corner there is a bright sign "SLOVNAFT" in the background of the sky.
(8) There is a light tape at the bottom of the horizontal part of the frame that says:
"THE BANKS ARE CRUDE GOLD
AND OTHER ASSETS
SHEET BANK CHESKOSLOVENSKY '.
(9) A large red number "50" is placed on the watermark edge of the banknote in the middle, the inner surface of which is filled with small bright numbers "50" on a dark, finely scratched background.
(10) The name of the author of the design and drawings: "V. FIALA DEL." (drawn) and the name of the author of the engraving on the right: "J. MRÁČEK SC."
Banknotes of 50 CZK model 1953 (shape I) *) remain legal money.
(1) To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the liberation of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic by the Soviet army, organised in 1965, commemorative silver 25 crowns are issued.
(2) The silver memory of the twenty-five crowns comes from a mixture of 500 pieces of silver, 400 parts of copper, 50 parts of nickel and 50 parts of zinc. The gross weight of 25 kroner is 16 g. In the case of stamping, the deviation up and down is allowed in gross weight 10 / 1000 and in silver content 5 / 1000. The diameter of the twenty-five crown is 34 mm and its edge is smooth with the inscription "20 YEARS EXEMPTIONS OF ČSSR," which is performed by influence.
(3) On the face of the commemorative silver twenty-five crown is the state emblem of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic, around it the inscription "CZECHOSLOVAK SOCIALISTIC REPUBLIC" and the separator sign below.
(4) On the back of the commemorative silver 25 crown is depicted the left profile of a young woman, symbolizing a generation after liberation, in the middle of a floating dove, flying to the left and carrying a lip branch in her beak. Below it is a barricade made of paving stones and behind it is the Prague motif of the bridge tower of Charles Bridge. On the left at the edge is the year of liberation "1945" and at the top "1965." The designation of the value "Kčs 25 'is in the middle of the bottom. In the middle paving stone is the brand of artist" ZK "(Zdeněk Kolářský).
This decree shall take effect on the day of its publication.
