Decree of the Minister of Finance
of 17 May 1957
on the issue of commemorative silver ten crowns for the 250th anniversary of the founding of engineering schools in Prague.
The Minister of Finance declares pursuant to § 2 (2) of Decree No. 35 / 1954 Coll., on commemorative coins:
(1) To celebrate the 250th anniversary of the founding of the engineering schools in Prague, commemorative silver ten crowns are issued.
(2) The silver 10krones are drawn from a mixture of 500 pieces of silver, 400 parts of copper, 50 parts of nickel and 50 parts of zinc. The gross weight of the 10 crown is 12 g. In the case of stamping, the deviation up and down is allowed in gross weight 10 / 1000 and in silver purity 5 / 1000. The diameter of the 10-crown is 30 mm and the edge is smooth with six-pointed stars and simple waves.
(3) On the face of the commemorative silver ten crown is the state emblem of the Czechoslovak Republic, around it the inscription "REPUBLIC OF CZECHOSLOVENSKI," the year of production "1957" and the value of the coin "10" which are separated by four-leaf cloths. On the back is a portrait of Ch. J. Willenberg, in the background of the dam, in the lower part of the circle with the laurel branch and abbreviation of the author's name "F. D." There is the inscription "250 YEARS INJENYRUS SCHOOL IN PRAGUE · CH · J · WILLENBERG ·."
This decree shall take effect on the day of its publication.
