Annex
Description of the fifty crown dated 3 July 1948.
The 50 koruna is printed on white velvet paper of a special composition with continuous watermark, which vertically along sharply broken lines, darker than the surrounding paper, forms an ornament of scale pattern, visible against light.
50 krona is 72 mm wide and 140 mm long; smaller deviations are possible.
The main printing patterns on both face and back occupy almost the entire area of paper, except for the white edge on all four sides approximately the same width.
On the face of the tender, the main printing is made in greenish blue colour and bounded at the bottom by a wide band of white guilloche (bellows), with a narrow white guilloche band on the other three sides. This guilloche frame is also accompanied by decorative stripes from stylized national ornaments, shaded by fine lines and squares along all four inner sides.
In the right part of the face is a rectangular frame bounded by a fine wavy decoration, in which is placed the portrait of General Milan Rastislav Štefánik in the uniform of the French general. The head on the portrait is shown in a view from three quarters.
The main frame on the face of the tender is interrupted at the top by a large white inscription
"THE REPUBLIC OF
CZECH REPUBLIC '.
In the middle of the inner space of the main frame, the text is in large bright letters:
"PÄTZDESIAT KORON
THE CZECH REPUBLIC ',
under it, in smaller dark letters:
"In Prague, June 3, 1948.
_
and at the bottom of the criminal threat:
_
The background of the text on the cheek consists of a fine grey blue wave underprint.
Above the text is a six-digit number of the tender, to the right of the serial number in a large letter and a one-digit or two-digit number, all in red.
In the main frame on the face at the upper left corner is the state emblem of the Czechoslovak Republic, at the lower left corner is a large oval guilloche rose with a large white figure "50" and at the lower right corner is a small rose with a smaller white figure "50."
Down on the white edge on the left is the signature of the author of the design "B. FOJTAŠEK" and on the right is the signature of the engraver "L. JIRKA SC." in the middle is the company sign of the printer:
"TLAČIARENA PATIDIEL NATIONAL
THE BANK OF CHESCOSLOVENSKE'
On the back of the tender, the main printing is made in dark green colour and creates a major frame of white guilloche along all four sides. This framework is still accompanied by a fine mesh of green and purple wool on all sides.
The main frame on the back of the top bears a light inscription
"THE REPUBLIC OF
CZECH REPUBLIC ',
below is a white belt frame extended and bears the inscription
_
large white letters with dark cast shadow,
Then the inscription ends with a word
"CZECH LOCKS ',
by smaller white letters.
In the right and the lower left corner of the main frame, large white roses with white figures are "50."
The whole interior of the main frame on the reverse fills the landscape image: the town of Banska Bystrica in overall view with part of the Low Tatras in the background. In the lower left corner of this painting is a small white inscription
"BAN BYSTRICA."
Down on the white edge is the name of the author of the design of the landscape painting "Š. BEDNÁR," on the right name of the graphics "B. PHOJTAŠEK."
