THE LAW
of 30 May 2002
amending Act No 582 / 1991 Coll., on the organisation and implementation of social security, as amended
Parliament has decided on this law of the Czech Republic:
In Act No. 582 / 1991 Coll., on the Organisation and Implementation of Social Security, as amended by Act No. 307 / 1993 Coll. and Act No. 241 / 1994 Coll., § 11a including footnotes No 73a) and 73b) read:
(1) The Ministry of the Interior provides 73a according to the special legislation) Czech Social Security Administration from the information system of the population registration in electronic form in a way that allows remote access by the following data:
(a) the name, surname and, where appropriate, their change, maiden name;
(b) the date of birth;
(c) sex and its change;
(d) the municipality and district of birth; for a citizen born abroad, only the State of birth,
(e) birth number,
(f) citizenship;
(g) the address of the place of permanent residence, including previous addresses of the place of permanent residence;
(h) the beginning of the permanent residence or, where applicable, the date of cancellation of the place of permanent residence;
(i) depriving or restricting legal capacity;
(j) a residence permit and its duration;
(k) the birth number of the father, mother or other legal representative, as appropriate; where one of the parents does not have a birth number, the date of birth;
(l) family status, date and place of change;
(m) the spouse's birth number; if the spouse is a stranger who is not assigned a birth number, his name and surname,
(n) the birth number of the child,
(o) adoption of a child;
(p) the date, place and district of death; for a citizen who died abroad, only the state of death.
(2) The Ministry of the Interior communicates to the Czech Social Security Administration data concerning citizens over 15 years of age,
(a) the assignment or change of the birth number;
(b) the change of name or surname;
without request, within 15 days of the date on which such data became part of the population registration information system.
(3) Czech Social Security Administration since 1 January 2003
(a) submit to the Ministry of the Interior the documents necessary for the identification and, where appropriate, correction of the birth numbers of citizens born before 31 December 1968;
(b) may request the assignment of the birth number or the repair of the issue place of the birth number or, where appropriate, the Ministry of the Interior, if the reasons for its assignment or correction are established in accordance with specific legislation. 73b)

This Act shall take effect on the day of its publication.
