setting out details of the organisation and termination of studies in higher vocational schools
The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports provides in an agreement with the Ministry of Health pursuant to § 27c of Act No. 29 / 1984 Coll., on the System of Primary Schools, Secondary Schools and Higher Vocational Schools (Education Act), as amended by Act No. 138 / 1995 Coll., and pursuant to § 13 (f) of Act No. 564 / 1990 Coll., on State Administration and Self-Government in Education, as amended by Act No. 139 / 1995 Coll.:
Organisation of studies
§ 1
School year
(1) The school teaching period in the school year lasts 40 weeks, of which 32 weeks are school teaching, six weeks is intended to obtain a proper classification and two weeks is a time reserve. Part of the school year from 1 September to 31 January shall be the winter period, part of the school year from 1 February to 31 August shall be the summer period.
(2) Teaching in the last six calendar months before discharge lasts at least 14 weeks.
§ 2
Training organisation
(1) Theoretical training involving general education and specific vocational training is carried out in theoretical teaching. Practical training shall take the form of practical teaching in a higher vocational school or a higher medical school (hereinafter referred to as "the school ') under the guidance of school teachers and professional experience in the workplace of legal or natural persons who are authorised to operate in the field.
(2) Theoretical and practical teaching hours last 45 minutes.
(3) The teaching hour in professional practice lasts 60 minutes.
(4) Professional practice may be carried out after days or may be combined within weeks.
§ 3
Participation in teaching
(1) If a student is released at a written request from a participation in the subject of theoretical instruction, he / she shall be obliged to take an examination at discharge if that subject is part of the examination for discharge.
(2) A pupil may be released from his / her participation in practical training after examination of his / her evidence of work and professional experience, not more than half of the total number of practical training hours.
§ 4
Leaving the study
The pupil ceases to be a pupil of the school on the basis of his / her written notice to the Director that he / she leaves the studies on the date indicated in the written communication, but not earlier than the day following the day on which the notice of leaving the study was delivered to the Director.
§ 5
Change in the field of study or focus of study, if any
A change in the field of study or, where appropriate, the field of study may be authorised by the pupil on written request. The change may be conditional on successful performance of the differences tests for which the student is determined by the content, scope and date of performance.
§ 6
Long-term study
(1) Remote study is evenly distributed on average in the winter or summer period. The consultation hour of theoretical and practical preparation takes 60 minutes.
(2) Long-distance studies are covered by this Decree, with the exception of Sections 1 (2) and 2 (2).
Termination of studies in discharge
§ 7
(1) The dates of discharge shall be determined by the Director according to the length of his studies for the period from 2 to 31 January, from 1 to 30 June and from 1 to 30 September.
(2) Prior to the start of discharge, pupils do not have teaching for at least five consecutive working days.
(3) The pupil may discharge within two years of the end of the last year of study.
(4) Discharge shall be held publicly, except in areas where it is excluded for health or safety reasons at work. The composition and number of professional subjects from which the theoretical examination takes place are set out in the curriculum. The defence of graduate work may include the verification of practical skills where this results from teaching documents or from the award of graduate work. The subject of graduate work shall be defined to the pupil no later than six months before discharge. In the case of pupils with sensory or physical disabilities, the Director shall adjust the conditions for carrying out the test.
(5) The preparation for the defence of graduate work, the theoretical examination of professional subjects or the foreign language examination takes 15 to 20 minutes. The defence of graduate work takes a maximum of 15 minutes. If the defence of graduate work is part of the verification of practical skills, the defence of graduate work shall last a maximum of 30 minutes. Theoretical examination of professional subjects takes up to 30 minutes, the examination of a foreign language takes up to 15 minutes.
§ 8
Classification and evaluation in discharge
(1) The classification of the defence of graduate work, theoretical examinations of professional subjects and examinations of a foreign language is carried out at discharge according to the following scale of benefit:
1- výborně
2- velmi dobře
3- dobře
4- nevyhověl.
(2) The classics of the pupil are proposed by individual examiners, in the case of graduate work, by its head, on the basis of a written peer review and the course of the defence of graduate work.
(3) The overall discharge evaluation shall include the classification of theoretical examinations from professional subjects, the advocacy of graduate work and foreign language examinations. The overall discharge assessment shall be carried out by the Examination Panel according to the following scale:
(a) he has benefited with honours if the defence of graduate work is classified at grade 1 - excellent and the pupil does not benefit worse than 2 in the classification referred to in paragraph 1 - very well. The average benefit of the pupil in discharge must not be less than 1,5,
(b) benefit if the average benefit of the pupil in discharge is less than 1,5 and does not benefit less than 3 in the classification referred to in paragraph 1 - well,
(c) has not benefited if, in some part of the discharge, the pupil has a degree of benefit as referred to in paragraph 1 4 - failing.
(4) The overall evaluation of discharge, including the evaluation of the individual parts thereof, shall be notified to the pupil by the President of the Examination Commission on the date on which the pupil carried out the discharge.
§ 9
(1) If the pupil does not arrive at the discharge for serious reasons and if the examination committee recognises the pupil's apology, it shall allow the test to be postponed and determine the replacement period for the pupil. If the pupil did not show up for the test without an apology, or if his apology was not accepted, the Examination Board shall not allow the examination to be postponed and shall assess the pupil as if he did not benefit from discharge. The examination committee may authorise this pupil to repeat his discharge by the deadline laid down in § 7 (1) and (3).
(2) The composition of the Examination Board shall be the same as in due time when the tests are carried out at the replacement date or in the repetition of discharge. Where it is not possible for serious reasons to ensure the same composition of the Commission, a new test committee shall be established.
(3) The Chairman of the Examination Board shall manage the work of the Commission, check the preparedness of the examinations and the discharge process. In the absence of the Chairman of the Examination Committee, the Vice-President shall act as Vice-President.
§ 10
Efficacy
This decree shall take effect on the day of its publication.
