DECISION
PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC
of 16 July 2008
on the announcement of elections to the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic and the announcement of elections to regional councils
I.
Pursuant to Article 63 (1) (f) and taking into account Article 17 (1) of the Constitution of the Czech Republic and Article 1 (3) and (4) of Act No. 247 / 1995 Coll., on elections to Parliament of the Czech Republic and amending and supplementing certain other laws, as amended,
Announcing elections
to the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic in constituencies No 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 21, 24, 27, 30, 33, 36, 39, 42, 45, 48, 51, 54, 57, 60, 63, 66, 69, 72, 75, 78, 81, in which, according to the Constitution of the Czech Republic and the Act on Elections to Parliament of the Czech Republic, the term of the elected members of the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic expires and I set the dates for Friday and Saturday 17 and 18 October 2008.
II.
Pursuant to Article 63 (2) of the Constitution of the Czech Republic and Article 3 (1) and (2) of Act No. 130 / 2000 Coll., on Regional Councils and on the amendment of certain laws, as amended,
Announcing elections
to the councils of the regions and I will set the dates for their events on Friday and Saturday 17 and 18 October 2008.
