GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 30 September 2019
on the increase of pension supplements in 2020
The Government provides, pursuant to Article 8 (2) of Act No. 198 / 1993 Coll., on the illegality of the Communist regime and on the resistance against it, as amended by Act No. 220 / 2011 Coll. and Act No. 212 / 2016 Coll., and under Article 2 (8) of the Act No. 357 / 2005 Coll., on the recognition of participants in the national struggle for the creation and liberation of Czechoslovakia and certain survivors of them, on the special contribution to the pension of certain persons, on the lump sum of certain participants in the national struggle for liberation between 1939 and 1945 and on the amendment of certain laws, as amended by Act No. 108 / 2009 Coll., Act No. 220 / 2011 Coll.
(1) The supplement to the pension under Government Decree No. 622 / 2004 Coll., on the provision of a supplement to the pension to mitigate certain injustices caused by the Communist regime in the social field, as amended by Government Decree No. 405 / 2005 Coll. and Government Decree No. 369 / 2007 Coll., and under Act No. 357 / 2005 Coll., on the award of participants in the national struggle for the creation and liberation of Czechoslovakia and of certain survivors after them, on the special contribution to the pension to certain persons, on the lump sum of money for the exemption from the Act No. 458 / 2011 Coll., and on the amendment of the Act No. 212 / 2016 Coll. (hereinafter "the surcharge"), "the surcharge" was not granted before 1 January 2020, the Act No. 5.2 / 2008 Coll. The allowances shall be increased from the payment of the pension with which they are paid due after 31 December 2019.
(2) After the increase referred to in paragraph 1, the amount of the premium shall be rounded up to the whole crown.
This Regulation shall take effect on 1 January 2020.
