DECLARATION
of 13 January 2025
on the issue of the commemorative silver two hundred crowns for the 200th anniversary of the founding of the Bohmische Sparkasse
The Czech National Bank provides pursuant to § 22 paragraph 1 (a) of Act No. 6 / 1993 Coll., on the Czech National Bank, as amended by Act No. 442 / 2000 Coll. and Act No. 89 / 2018 Coll.:
(1) On 12 February 2025 the 200th anniversary of the founding of the Bohmische Sparkasse Czech savings bank is issued a commemorative silver coin of CZK 200 (hereinafter referred to as the "two hundred koruna").
(2) Two hundred koruna is issued in the normal version and in a special version with polished field of coin and matte relief.
(3) Two hundred koruna is rolled from an alloy containing 925 parts of silver and 75 parts of copper. The weight of the 2-hundredth crown is 13 g, its diameter is 31 mm and its strength is 2,20 mm. In the case of an embossing of two hundred crowns, the tolerance in the silver content shall be up to 1%, the difference in weight up to 0,26 g, the tolerance in diameter 0,1 mm and the tolerance in thickness 0,15 mm. The edge of two hundred crowns in normal design is serrated, the edge of two hundred crowns in special design is smooth with the feature "CZECH NATIONAL BANKA * Ag 0.925 * 13 g *."
(1) On the front side of the two hundred koruna is a collage made up of part of the front side of the Banknote Privileged Austrian National Bank 50 gold with date 23 June 1825, part of the annual report by Böhmische Sparkasse from 1826 and the figure of St. Wenceslas on an emblem with a copy "CZECH ORDER IN PRAGUE." At the top of the coin is the text "CZECH REPUBLIC." Denomination with the abbreviation "200 CZK" is at the lower left edge of the coin. The brand of the Czech Mint consisting of the letters "No" and "M" is to the right of the character St. Wenceslas.
(2) On the reverse side of the two hundred koruna is a collage made up of part of the first own building of the Czech savings bank at the National Class in Prague, a bee as a symbol of the savings bank and graphic fragments from the Böhmische Sparkasse stock books. At the top edge of the coin is the text "CZECH COLLECTION" and on the right in the middle of the coin field is the text "BÖHMISCHE SPARKASSE." The text "1825-2025" is to the right of the part of the building. The initials of the author of the academic sculptor Zbyňek Fojt coin, which are composed of the letters "F" and "Z", are to the right of the text "CZECH."
(3) The picture of the two hundred crown is given in the annex to this decree.
This decree shall take effect on 12 February 2025.
