establishing a list of diplomas, certificates and other evidence of formal qualifications as an architect awarded on the territory of the European Union and other States and institutions and bodies issuing them
The Ministry of Local Development pursuant to § 30b (2) (a) and (b) of Act No. 360 / 1992 Coll., on the pursuit of the profession of authorized architects and on the pursuit of the profession of authorised engineers and technicians active in construction, as amended, declares the following list of diplomas, certificates and other evidence of formal qualifications of architect awarded in the territory of the European Union and other States and institutions and bodies which issue them.
The list of evidence of formal qualifications of an architect issued in the territory of other Member States, which are recognised automatically in accordance with point 1.1 of the Annex to Act No. 360 / 1992 Coll., is set out in Annex V.7 to Directive 2005 / 36 / EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on the recognition of professional qualifications.
The list of evidence of formal qualifications of an architect issued in the territories of other Member States and other States which are recognised on the basis of acquired rights according to point 2 of the Annex to Act No. 360 / 1992 Coll., is set out in the Annex.
The Communication of the Ministry of Local Development No 287 / 2004 Coll., announcing the list of diplomas, certificates and other evidence of formal qualifications of architect awarded on the territory of the European Union and the institutions and bodies issuing them, as amended, shall be deleted.

List of evidence of formal qualifications of architect issued in the territories of other Member States and other States recognised on the basis of acquired rights under point 2 of the Annex to Act No. 360 / 1992 Coll.
I. in Belgium:
(1) diplomas awarded by higher state schools of architecture or higher state institutions of architecture (architecte - architect);
2) diplomas awarded by the Regional School of Architecture in Hasselt (Architect);
3) diplomas awarded by Royal Academy of Fine Arts (Architect);
(4) diplomas awarded by "écoles Saint-Luc" (architecte - architect);
(5) university degrees in civil engineering, accompanied by a certificate of residence issued by the professional body of architects authorising the holder to use the professional title architect (architect);
(6) diplomas of architecture awarded by the central or state examination committee of architecture (architecte - architect);
7) diplomas of the building engineer - architect and engineer architect awarded by the Faculty of Applied Sciences of the University of Monsu (ingénieur- architecte, ingénieur - architect).

II. In Bulgaria:
diplomas with the professional title "архитект '(architect)," строителен инженер' (construction engineer) or "архитект '(engineer) awarded by the following accredited universities:
1) Университет за архитектура, строителство и геодезия - София: специалности "Урбанизъм" и "Архитектура" (University of Architecture, Construction and Geodézie - Sofia: obory "urban planning" and "architecture") and all engineering disciplines in study programmes: "конструкции на сгради и съоръжения" (terbal buildings and constructions), "пътътища" транспорт "(Transport)," хидротехника и водно стротелство (hydrotechnies and water constructions), "(мацинининининиририна"
2) diplomas awarded for construction by technical universities and universities in the fields of study: "електро- и теплотехника" (electrical engineering and thermal engineering), "съобщителна и комуникационна техника" (telecommunications technology and technology), "строителни технологии" (construction technology), "приложна геодезия" (applied geodesy) а "ландафт и др." (landscapes etc.) in the field of construction).
In order to carry out project activities in architecture and construction, diplomas must be accompanied by "придружени от удостоверение за проектантска правоспособност" (Certificate of Legal Eligibility for Project Activities), issued by "Камарата на архитектите" (Chamber of Architects) а "Камарата на инженерите в инвестиционото проектиране" (Chamber of Engineers in Investment Exhibition), which entitles the project activity in the investment exhibition.

III. Denmark:
(1) diplomas awarded by state schools of architecture in Copenhagen and Århus (architect);
(2) a registration certificate issued by the Commission of Architects in accordance with Law No 202 of 28 May 1975 (Registret arkitekt);
(3) diplomas awarded by higher education institutions of civil engineering (bygningskonstructor), accompanied by a certificate from the competent authorities stating that the person concerned has passed a qualification test which includes an evaluation of the plans proposed and implemented by the person concerned during at least six years of experience relating to the activities referred to in Article 48 of Directive 2005 / 36 / EC.

8) Diploma "inženjer" awarded by the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Zagreb (Arhitektonski fakultet Sveučilistíta u Zagrebu);
9) Diploma "inženjer" awarded by the Faculty of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodésie of the University of Zagreb (Arhitektonsko-gradevinsk- geodetski fakultet Sveučílišta u Zagrebu) for the completion of studies in the field of architecture of the Faculty of Architecture, Construction Engineering and Geodésia (Arhitektonski left the Arhitektonsko-gradevinsko- geodetskog fakultek);
10) Diploma "inženjer" awarded by the Technical Faculty of the University of Zagreb (Tehnički fakultet Sveučilišta u Zagrebu) for the completion of studies in the field of architecture of the Technical Faculty (Arhitektonski odsjek Tehničkog fakuliteta);
11) Diploma "inženjer" awarded by the Technical Faculty of the University of Zagreb (Tehnički facultet Sveučilistíta u Zagrebu) for the completion of studies in the field of architecture - building engineering of the Technical Faculty (Arhitektonsko- inženjerski left Tehničkog faculteta);
12) Diploma "inženjer arhitekture" awarded by the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Zagreb (Arhitektonski facultet Sveučilišta u Zagrebu).
All diplomas must be accompanied by a certificate of membership of the Croatian Chamber of Architects (Hrvatska Chamber of Arhitekata), issued by the Croatian Chamber of Architects in Zagreb.

VIII. in Ireland:
1) the title "Bachelor of Architecture" awarded by "National University of Ireland" (B. Arch. N.U.I.) to graduates of architecture at "University College" in Dublin;
2) a degree in architecture awarded by the College of Technology, Bolton Street, Dublin (Dipl. Arch.);
(3) an extraordinary member's certificate "Royal Institute of Architects of Ireland" (ARIAI);
4) Certificate of member "Royal Institute of Architects of Ireland" (MRIAI).

IX. in Iceland:
diplomas, certificates and other titles awarded in other States covered by Directive 2005 / 36 / EC and included in that list, together with a certificate of completion of the established practice issued by the competent authorities.
X. in Italy:
(1) diplomas "laurea in architecture" awarded by universities, polytechnical institutes and higher institutes of architecture in Venice and Reggio-Calabria, supplemented by a diploma authorising the holder to pursue the profession of architect independently, issued by the Minister for Education after the candidate has passed a state examination before the relevant Examination Commission authorising him to pursue the profession of architect independently (dot. architetto);
(2) "laurea in ingegneria" diplomas in the field of construction awarded by universities and polytechnical institutes, supplemented by a diploma authorising the holder to pursue an independent profession in the field of architecture awarded by the Minister of Education after the candidate has passed a state examination before the relevant examination committee authorising him to pursue his profession independently (dott. ing. architetto or dott. ing. in ingegneria civili).

(2) diplomas awarded by technical universities "Technische Hochschulen" in the field of architecture (Architektur / Hochbau), "Technische Universitäte" (Architektur / Hochbau), "Universitäte" (Architektur / Hochbau) as well as, if these institutions have joined together in "Gesamthochschulen," including these "Gesamthochschulen," in the field of architecture (Architektur / Hochbau) (Dipl. Ing and other names which may be awarded to holders of such diplomas later);
(3) diplomas awarded by "Fachhochschulen," in the field of architecture (Architektur / Hochbau), and also, where these institutions have joined in "Gesamthochschulen," including these "Gesamthochschulen," in the field of architecture (Architektur / Hochbau), supplemented if the period of study is less than four years but less than three years, by a certificate evidencing four years' professional experience in the Federal Republic of Germany issued by a professional organisation in accordance with Article 47 (1) (Ingenieur grad and other indications which may be awarded to holders of such diplomas later);
(4) a certificate (Prüfungszeugnisse) issued before 1 January 1973 "Ingenieurschulen," in the field of architecture and "Werkkunstschulen," in the field of architecture, accompanied by a certificate from the competent authorities stating that the person concerned has passed an examination which includes an evaluation of the plans proposed and implemented by the person concerned during at least six years of experience relating to the activities referred to in Article 48 of Directive 2005 / 36 / EC;
(5) certificates issued by the competent authorities of the Federal Republic of Germany proving the equivalence of evidence of formal qualifications issued on or after 8 May 1945 by the competent authorities of the German Democratic Republic with those listed in Annex VI to Directive 2005 / 36 / EC.

XVIII. in the Netherlands:
(1) a certificate of successful completion of the examination leading to a degree in architecture awarded by the fields of architecture of universities in Delft or Eindhoven (bouwkundig ingenieur);
(2) diplomas awarded by state-recognised architects;
3) diplomas awarded until 1971 by former higher education institutes in the field of architecture (Hoger Bouwkunstonderricht) (architect HBO);
(4) diplomas awarded until 1970 by former higher education institutes in the field of architecture (Voortgezet Bouwkunstonderricht) (architect VBO);
5) Certificate of successful passing of the examination organised by the board of architects "Bond van Nederland Architecten" (chamber of Dutch architects, BNA) (architect);
(6) the Stichtung Instituut voor architectuur (IVA) diploma awarded after completion of the course organised by this Foundation lasting at least four years (architect), accompanied by a certificate from the competent authorities that the person concerned has passed a qualification test which includes an evaluation of the plans proposed and implemented by the person concerned during at least six years' experience in the activities referred to in Article 44 of Directive 2005 / 36 / EC;
(7) a certificate issued by the competent authorities that, before 5 August 1985, the person concerned had passed an examination leading to the title of "candidaat in de bouwkunde" organised by a high-tech school in Delft or Eindhoven and that he had carried out, for at least five years immediately preceding that date, an architect whose nature and importance guarantee that he was eligible to carry out such activities in accordance with the requirements in force in the Netherlands (architect);
(8) a certificate issued by the competent authorities only to persons who have reached the age of 40 years before 5 August 1985 and certifying that the person concerned has carried out, for at least five years immediately prior to that date, an architect whose nature and importance guarantee that he is capable of carrying out such activities in accordance with the requirements in force in the Netherlands (architect).
The certificates referred to in points (7) and (8) need no longer be recognised as from the date of entry into force of the laws, regulations and administrative provisions relating to the taking up and pursuit of the activities of an architect under the professional title of architect in the Netherlands, provided that such certificates do not allow access to such activities under the professional title of architect.
