amending and supplementing the Decree of the Government of the Slovak Socialist Republic No. 181 / 1969 Coll., on flood protection
The Government of the Slovak Socialist Republic orders, pursuant to § 30 paragraph 2 of Act No. 18 / 1958 Coll., on Fire Protection:
The Decree of the Government of the Slovak Socialist Republic No 181 / 1969 Coll., on flood protection, is amended as follows:
1. Article 5 (3) reads as follows:
"(3) The water commission of the national committees for flood and flood risks in the territory of the national committee shall operate and coordinate the performance of flood protection (safety and rescue work); are subordinate to the flood committee of the national higher level committee, district flood committee and central flood commission in Slovakia. '
Article 8 (2) (c) reads as follows:
"(c) on internal waters where the external water level is higher than the internal water level."
3. Paragraph 8 (4) (c) reads as follows:
"(c) on internal waters, provided that, in full use of the capacity of the service station and in its continuous operation, the water rises above the maximum operating level specified by the approved control order.";
4. Article 10 (1) reads as follows:
"(1) The Minister for Forestry and Water Management is Chairman of the Central Flood Commission in Slovakia. The Commission shall also have a Vice-President and Members appointed and withdrawn by the Government of the Slovak Socialist Republic and other members appointed and withdrawn by the Chairman of the Central Flood Commission in Slovakia by virtue of the authority of the Government. '
5. Article 11 (2) reads as follows:
"(2) The Central Flood Commission in Slovakia has a technical staff as its expert advisory and executive body. The head of the technical staff, its representatives and staff members shall be appointed and removed by the Chairman of the Central Flood Commission in Slovakia; the head of the technical staff shall be appointed by the water management experts, his first representative from the staff of the Ministry of Interior of the Slovak Socialist Republic, his second representative from the water management experts; the other members of the staff shall be appointed from among professional water operators and from workers from other bodies and organisations. ';
6. In Paragraph 12 (4), the introductory phrase reads:
"(4) Watercourses managers under the tasks and duties referred to in paragraph 1 shall in particular be required to:"
7. In Paragraph 12 (5), at the beginning of the sentence, the words "Water flow management 'are replaced by the words" Water management organisation'.
8. In Paragraph 12 (6), at the beginning of the sentence, the words "Water flow management 'are replaced by the words" Water management organisations managed by the Ministry of Forestry and Water Management'.
9.
"(2) The costs of security work on flows shall be borne by the authorities and organisations which manage the watercourses. ';
This Government Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its publication.
