Decree of the Prime Minister
of 25 May 1955
declaring the statutes of the Order of the Order of the Red Battalion of Labour, the Order of the Red Star of Labour and the distinction "For Labour Loyalty" and "For Labour Sacrifice."
The Prime Minister hereby declares, pursuant to § 6 (1) of Decree-Law No 24 / 1955 Coll., which establishes the "Order of the Red Battalion of Labour," the "Order of the Red Star of Labour," and the award "For Work Loyalty" and "For Labour Sacrifice":
DEFINITIONS
"The Order of the Red Battalion of Work," "The Order of the Red Star of Work," and the award "For Work Loyalty" and "For Work Sacrifice."
The Red Battalion Order.
(1) The Order of the Red Labour Battalion is awarded for exceptional merit obtained by life-long work, long-standing, tenacious, dedicated and exemplary work on critical sections of economic, scientific or cultural construction of socialism, accompanied by loyalty to the profession.
(2) The Order of the Red Battalion of Work has the shape of a gear wheel with a diameter of 40 mm, decorated at the bottom of the lip branch. There's a red-flying joke coming out of the branches. The background consists of a bundle of ears on which is placed a red-enamelled five-pointed star.
On the back of the order, the coiled wheel is decorated with lime branches. There is a small national character in the upper part of the shield 22 mm high. There's a five-pointed plastic star above it. There's a matrix number under the shield.
The order is mounted on the ribbon by a curtain, which consists of two cross-lip flips, suspended to the top of the star. The Order is struck by silver and gilded.
The stripe of the Order of the Red Labour Battalion is 38 mm wide. It is light blue, dark blue, 3 mm wide in the middle. It is lined on both edges with red stripes 3 mm wide.
(3) The Order of the Red Labour Battalion is worn on the left side of the breast behind the Order of the Red Collateral. If only the ribbon of the order is worn, it is tensed to a rectangular bar 10 mm wide and 38 mm long.
The Red Star Order of Work.
(1) The Order of the Red Star of Labour is awarded for outstanding merit obtained by longstanding, tenacious, dedicated and exemplary work on the crucial sections of economic, scientific or cultural construction of socialism, accompanied by loyalty to the profession.
(2) The Red Star Order consists of a plastic, red-enamelled five-pointed star with a 42 mm tip span. Between the individual points of the star, the vertices of the pentagon are protruded by the star.
On the reverse of the Order is placed a pentagon with a inscribed circle of 24 mm diameter, in which is a small state character over the lip branch. The bottom of the pentagon is equipped with a matrix number. The pentagon exceeds the profiled points of the star.
The star is connected to a ribbon with a silver hinge, which consists of two cross-lip twists connected by a hanging ring with a star.
The Order is struck by silver.
The stripe of the Red Star Order is 38 mm wide. It is light blue with two dark blue 3 mm wide stripes in the middle. It is lined on both edges with red stripes 3 mm wide.
(3) The Order of Red Star Work is worn on the left side of the breast behind the Order of Work. If only the ribbon of the order is worn, it is tensed to a rectangular bar 10 mm wide and 38 mm long.
An award for professional loyalty.
(1) Honours It is given for professional loyalty for outstanding merit, obtained by a multi-annual, tenacious, dedicated and exemplary work on crucial sections of economic, scientific or cultural construction of socialism, accompanied by loyalty to the profession.
(2) Honours It has the shape of a 33 mm diameter circle. There is a flaming flag on the area of the circle, on which is placed a laurel slide. The smear is connected to the middle of the battalion with a ribbon that says "For work loyalty."
On the reverse of the medal is placed a small state emblem over the lip branch.
The medal is embossed with silver.
The ribbon is 38 mm wide. It is light blue with three dark blue 3 mm wide stripes in the middle. It is lined on both edges with red stripes 3 mm wide.
(3) Honours For professional loyalty, it is worn on the left side of the breast for honours for merit in construction. If only the ribbon is worn, it is tensed to a rectangular bar 10 mm wide and 38 mm long.
A commendation for work dedication.
(1) Honours For labour sacrifice, it is given for merit obtained by multi-annual, dedicated and exemplary work on critical sections of economic, scientific or cultural building of socialism, committed to the profession.
(2) Honours For work dedication, the shape of a 33 mm diameter circle. There is a flaming flag on the area of the circle, on which is placed a laurel slide. The smear is connected to the mast of the battalion with a ribbon marked "For work sacrifice."
On the reverse of the medal is placed a small state emblem over the lip branch.
The medal is stamped with bronze.
The ribbon is 38 mm wide. It is light blue with four dark blue 3 mm wide stripes in the middle. It is lined on both edges with red stripes 3 mm wide.
(3) Honours For work dedication, it is worn on the left side of the breast for honours for excellent work. If only the ribbon is worn, it is tensed to a rectangular bar 10 mm wide and 38 mm long.
Common provisions.
(1) The Order of the Red Battalion of Labour, the Order of the Red Star of Labour and Honours for Labour Loyalty and Labour Sacrifice (hereinafter referred to as the "Regulations and Honours") is given by the President of the Republic on a proposal from the Government.
(2) At the same time as the Order, he will receive a decorated diploma and an order book and a badge as proof of wearing the Order or honours.
(1) Rows and honours may exceptionally be lent even after the death of a decorated person; in that case, the order or honours with the documents shall be delivered to the family of the decorated.
(2) If he has died, the order or honours and documents shall be left to his family; But no family can wear them. If there is no family of the deceased, the order or honours and documents must be returned to the office of the Bureau of the Government.
(1) If a decorated act has been carried out which makes it an unworthy order or honours, or if the fact that the order or honours have been lent to him is subsequently made known, the order or honours are lost.
(2) Once the Commission established pursuant to § 9 (2) of Act No. 247 / 1949 Coll., the Order or Honours and Documents must be returned immediately to the Bureau of the Government.
(3) The Office of the Bureau of the Government must be returned to the Order or Honours and Documents which the sentenced person has lost in the loss of the civil rights conferred by the Court.
(1) In the event of loss, theft and theft, the Office of the Bureau of the Government may issue a replacement order or honours and documents for a remuneration which it itself provides for.
(2) Loss and theft shall be notified without delay to the Bureau of the Government and to the competent public security authority.
(3) Lines and honours are inalienable.
(1) Order or distinction can be given also
(a) a set of persons constituting a working or other collective; to take over the order or honours and documents, elect a collective from among its members a delegation;
(b) a military department, a department of the National Security Corps or any other similar department; the delegation shall be designated by the unit headquarters to take over the rules or honours and documents; the decoration shall be carried out as a general rule before the service is assembled;
(c) undertakings, institutes, state bodies or symbols; The delegation shall be designated by the competent authority to take over the rules or honours and documents.
(2) In the event of the demise of a decorated group of persons or a decorated department, undertaking or institute, the order or honours and documents shall be returned to the office of the Bureau of the Government.
The Prime Minister manages things of order and honours.
