GOVERNMENT REGULATION
of 12 June 2002
on the definition of categories of municipalities for the service of professional soldiers and coefficients for calculating housing allowance
The Government mandates pursuant to § 61 (9) of Act No. 221 / 1999 Coll., on professional soldiers, as amended by Act No. 254 / 2002 Coll.:
For the calculation of the housing allowance, the following categories of municipalities shall be established for the service of an occupational soldier:
a) I. category - capital Prague,
(b) Category II - a municipality with more than 50 000 inhabitants,
(c) Category III - village up to 50 000 inhabitants.
The population of the municipality is collected according to the Statistical lexicon of the municipalities of the Czech Republic processed by the Czech Statistical Office.
The following coefficients for the calculation of the housing allowance are hereby established:
(a) 1.56 times the minimum wage (1) for the municipality of Category I;
(b) 1,48 times the minimum wage for the municipality of category II;
(c) 1.40 times the minimum wage for a municipality of category III.
This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its publication.
