establishing the display of the military emblem, the national distinguishing mark and the castle guard emblem, the method of marking of military material with the military emblem and the internationally valid recognition mark, the display of the military uniform and the military badges and their wearing and marking of military equipment with the national distinguishing sign or the national symbol or the emblem of the castle guard
The Ministry of Defence provides, pursuant to Article 31 (5) of Act No. 219 / 1999 Coll., on the Armed Forces of the Czech Republic, and pursuant to § 8 (2) of Act No. 220 / 1999 Coll., on the course of essential or alternative service and military exercises and on certain legal ratios of soldiers in reserve:

HLAVA PRVNÍ

§ 1
(1) The military emblem consists of two crossed swords, the handles of which are below, and the sword from the right side is under the sword from the left side. The handles and blades of both swords are smooth without grafting and the handles are rounded.
(2) The character of the Castle Guard consists of three shields with the depiction of the Czech lion white on the red field, the Moravian eagle red and white in the blue field and the Silesian eagle black in the yellow field, which is supplemented by golden leaves of lime.
(3) The depiction of the military emblem and the castle guard emblem is given in Annex 1.

HLAVA DRUHÁ

MARKING OF MILITARY MATERIALS FOR MILITARY MARKS
§ 2
(1) Military material shall be identified by the military emblem, registration number and number of the military department, military equipment or military rescue department armed with sil.1) The registration number shall be regarded as a military emblem.
(2) The method of designation of military material by military emblem shall be carried out, depending on the type of material and its use in the armed forces of the Czech Republic, by stamping, printing, firing, etching, vulcanising or gluing a record plate with a pre-printed military emblem. Military material shall be marked in such a way that, by subsequent use, the military character, registration number and number of the military department, military equipment or military rescue service of the armed forces are not removed.
(3) The military emblem and the registration number shall be placed in visible places of the military material.
(4) The size of the military character for the designation of military material is determined by reference to the size of the marked article.
(5) Military material intended for humanitarian purposes is also known as internationally valid recognition features for military medical services, military spiritual personnel and civil protection.2) The red cross on the white field is an international hallmark of military health services and military spiritual staff. The international recognition of civil protection is an equilateral blue triangle on an orange background. The depiction of international recognition features of military medical services, military spiritual personnel and civil protection are set out in Annex 2.

MILITARY STAIRS AND MILITARY REMARKS
§ 3
Military uniform
(1) Military uniform consists of specified components of equipment intended for uniform equipping of soldiers. The composition of military uniform components may be combined as prescribed. The external appearance of military uniforms is characterized by colour, cut, value marking, military badges, sleeve marks, home and uniform buttons. Homes marked "CZECH REPUBLIC" and "CZECH AIR FORCE" are used in military uniform during the stay of the armed forces abroad. A cap, winter cap, boat, hat or beret of the appropriate colour shall be worn to the military uniform.
(2) Military uniform is intended for:
(a) soldiers of ground forces - green, beige, green or beige printing,
b) Air Force soldiers - blue, pale blue, green or beige printing,
(c) soldiers of the Military Office of the President of the Republic - blue, pale blue or green printing,
d) soldiers of the Castle Guard - grey, blue, pale blue or green printing,
(e) pupils of secondary military schools - green or green printing.
(3) Military berets of the appropriate colour are intended for:
(a) United Nations peacekeepers - light blue;
(b) members of the Military Police - in black,
c) Air Force soldiers - dark blue,
(d) soldiers of special forces, parachutes and units - red;
(e) soldiers of survey units - dark green
(f) soldiers of ground forces - in light green colour,
(g) soldiers of logistics services - grey,
(h) soldiers of military rescue services - orange.
(4) The depictions of walking, representative, service and field military uniforms are set out in Annex 3.
(5) The depiction of the sleeves, the badges on the hat and the homes is given in Annex 4.
§ 4
Rank
(1) The rating shall be divided into:
(a) metal,
(b) printed,
(c) embroidered.
(2) The metal value designation is gold or silver stars, gold grade tapes and silver grade buttons.
(3) The printed label is on black or brown foil. The printed ranks are for the petty officers, the Rotmasters' Choir and the ensign's Choir in grey and the Lower Officers' Choir, the Senior Officers' Choir and the General's Choir in ochre. Printed labels shall be worn on a military field uniform. On the cap of a military field uniform, a printed rank mark shall be worn in a reduced copy. The printed label on military field uniforms is the same for all branches of the armed forces of the Czech Republic (3) and is listed in Annex 5.
(4) Embroidered rank marks are red, blue, silver or gold, gold or silver colour stars and silver colour buttons.
§ 5
Rank designation of the Army of the Czech Republic on shoulder military uniforms
(1) Men and petty officers wear military uniforms on the shoulder
a) Private - shoulder without marking,
b) Lance Corporal - one rank button,
(c) Corporal - two rank buttons,
d) Sergeant - three rank buttons.
(2) The Corps of Rotmasters wears military uniforms on shoulder
a) Staff Sergeant - one big silver three-pointed star,
b) Sergeant - two large silver three-pointed stars,
c) Drotmaster - three big silver three-pointed stars,
d) Staff Sergeant - four large silver three-pointed stars.
(3) The corps of ensign on shoulder military uniforms wear
a) Ensign - one big silver five-pointed star,
b) Ensign - two large silver five-pointed stars,
c) Ensign - three large silver five-pointed stars,
d) Staff Ensign - four large silver five-pointed stars.
(4) The College of Lower Officers shall wear military uniforms on the shoulder
a) Ensign - one big gold three-pointed star,
b) Lieutenant - two big gold three-pointed stars,
c) Lieutenant Commander - three big gold three-pointed stars,
d) Captain - four big gold three-pointed stars.
(5) The College of Senior Officers shall wear military uniforms on the shoulder
a) Major - one big gold five-pointed star and a quality belt,
b) Lieutenant Colonel - two big gold five-pointed stars and a quality belt,
c) Colonel - three big gold five-pointed stars and a quality belt.
(6) The Corps of Generals wears military uniforms on the shoulder
(a) Brigadier General - one big gold five-pointed star, distinguishing mark and trim,
b) Major General - two big gold five-pointed stars, distinguishing sign and trim,
(c) Lieutenant General - three large gold five-pointed stars, distinguishing marks and trimmings,
d) Army General - four big gold five-pointed stars and a trim.
(7) The caps, winter caps, berets, boats and military uniform hats and the armour of the representative uniforms of Crew Music Prague and the ACR Honorary Guard carry a metal quality designation in a reduced design. A representation of the value designation of the Army of the Czech Republic on the shoulder and cap of military uniforms is given in Annex 6.
§ 6
Rank marking of the castle guards on shoulder military uniforms
(1) Men and petty officers wear military uniforms on the shoulder
a) Private - shoulder without marking,
b) Lance Corporal - one red grade belt,
(c) Corporal - two red grade tapes,
d) Sergeant - three red grade tapes.
(2) The Corps of Rotmasters wears military uniforms on shoulder
(a) general service - one silver grade belt,
b) Rotmaster - two silver grade tapes,
c) Nadrotmaster - three silver grade tapes,
d) Staff Sergeant - four silver grade tapes.
(3) The corps of ensign on shoulder military uniforms wear
(a) Ensign - one gold grade belt,
b) Ensign - two gold grade tapes,
c) Ensign - three gold grade tapes,
d) Staff Ensign - four gold grade tapes.
(4) The College of Lower Officers shall wear military uniforms on the shoulder
a) Ensign - one big gold five-pointed star,
b) Lieutenant - two big gold five-pointed stars,
c) Lieutenant Commander - three big gold five-pointed stars,
d) Captain - four big gold five-pointed stars.
(5) The College of Senior Officers shall wear military uniforms on the shoulder
a) Major - one big gold five-pointed star and gold trim,
(b) Lieutenant Colonel - two big five-pointed gold stars and a gold trim,
(c) Colonel - three big gold five-pointed stars and a gold trim.
(6) The representation of the castle guards' value mark on the shoulder of military uniforms is given in Annex 7.
§ 7
Rank title of the Castle Guard on military representative uniforms
(1) Men and petty officers on the sleeves of military representative uniforms wear
(a) Private sleeve without marking,
b) Lance Corporal - one red grade belt,
(c) Corporal - two red grade tapes,
d) Sergeant - three red grade tapes.
(2) In the case of sub-officers, there is a blue belt on the sleeves of the military summer representative uniforms.
(3) The College of Rotmasters shall wear, on the sleeves of military representative uniforms with black port and on the sleeves of summer representative uniforms with dark blue port
(a) general service - one silver grade belt,
b) Rotmaster - two silver grade tapes,
c) Nadrotmaster - three silver grade tapes,
d) Staff Sergeant - four silver grade tapes.
(3) The corps of Ensign on the sleeves of military representative uniforms with black port and on the sleeves of summer representative uniforms with dark blue port wear
(a) Ensign - one gold grade belt,
b) Ensign - two gold grade tapes,
c) Ensign - three gold grade tapes,
d) Staff Ensign - four gold grade tapes.
(4) The assembly of lower officers on the sleeves of military representative uniforms with black port red lined and on the sleeves of military summer representative uniforms with dark blue port light blue lined wears
a) Ensign - one big gold five-pointed star,
b) Lieutenant - two big gold five-pointed stars,
c) Lieutenant Commander - three big gold five-pointed stars,
d) Captain - four big gold five-pointed stars.
(5) The assembly of senior officers on the sleeves of military representative uniforms with black gold plated port and on the sleeves of military summer representative uniforms with dark blue gold lined port wears
a) Major - one big gold five-pointed star and gold trim,
(b) Lieutenant Colonel - two big five-pointed gold stars and a gold trim,
(c) Colonel - three big gold five-pointed stars and a gold trim.
(6) The shoulders of the military representative uniforms of the Castle Guard are:
(a) teams and sub-officers - with a red embroidery on a dark blue background and a red trim, with military summer presentation uniforms with a light blue embroidery on a dark blue background and a light blue trim,
(b) a batmasters', battalion's and junior officers' corps - with a gold embroidery on a dark blue base and a red trim,
(c) a corps of senior officers - with a gold embroidery on a dark blue background and with a gold trim.
(7) A representation of the Castle Guard value designation on military representative uniforms is given in Annex 8.
§ 8
Rank designation of the Military Office of the President of the Republic on shoulder military uniforms
(1) The College of Lower Officers shall wear military uniforms on the shoulder
a) Ensign - one big gold five-pointed star,
b) Lieutenant - two big gold five-pointed stars,
c) Lieutenant Commander - three big gold five-pointed stars,
d) Captain - four big gold five-pointed stars.
(2) The College of Senior Officers shall wear military uniforms on the shoulder
a) Major - one big gold five-pointed star and gold trim,
(b) Lieutenant Colonel - two big five-pointed gold stars and a gold trim,
(c) Colonel - three big gold five-pointed stars and a gold trim.
(3) The Corps of Generals wears military uniforms on shoulder
(a) Brigadier General - one big gold five-point star with a gold band bounded on both sides by a red band,
b) Major General - two large five-pointed gold stars with a gold band bounded on both sides by a red band,
(c) Lieutenant General - three large five-pointed gold stars with a gold band bounded on both sides by a red band.
(4) The shoulders of the military uniforms of the Military Office of the President of the Republic are dark blue. The shoulders of the military summer uniforms of the Military Office of the President of the Republic are light blue.
(5) The representation of the rank mark of the Military Office of the President of the Republic on the shoulder of military uniforms is given in Annex 9.
§ 9
Rank designation of the Military Office of the President of the Republic on shoulder of military representation uniforms
(1) The College of Lower Officers shall wear military representative uniforms on the shoulder
a) Ensign - one big gold five-pointed star and red trim,
(b) Lieutenant - two big gold five-pointed stars and a red trim,
c) Lieutenant Commander - three big gold five-pointed stars and a red trim,
d) Captain - four big gold five-pointed stars and a red trim.
(2) The College of Senior Officers shall wear military representation uniforms on the shoulder
a) Major - one big gold five-pointed star and gold trim with outer red trim,
b) Lieutenant Colonel - two big gold five-pointed stars and a gold trim with an outer red trim,
(c) Colonel - three large gold five-pointed stars and a gold trim with an outer red trim.
(3) The Corps of Generals on the shoulder of military representation uniforms wears
a) Brigadier General - one big gold five-point star with double gold trim with inside red trim,
b) Major General - two big five-pointed gold stars with double gold trim with inside red trim,
(c) Lieutenant General - three big five-pointed gold stars with double gold trim with inside red trim.
(4) The shoulders of the military representative uniforms of the Military Office of the President of the Republic are dark blue. The shoulders of the military summer uniform of the Military Office of the President of the Republic are light blue.
(5) A representation of the rank mark of the Military Office of the President of the Republic on the shoulder of military representative uniforms is given in Annex 10.
§ 10
Small uniform accessories
(1) Small uniform accessories are intended to indicate the nationality of a type of army, a military unit, a military facility or a military rescue unit of the armed forces or to highlight the military uniform.
(2) Small uniform accessories consist of distinguishing marks, characters, badges, homesteaders, underpants, trimmings, lamps, embroidery, uniform buttons, nameplates, cords, scarves, sleeves and sleeves. State and ministerial honours are to be worn on the uniform in the specified series.4)

HLAVA ČTVRTÁ

NOTIFICATION OF MILITARY TECHNOLOGY BY THE NATIONAL DIFFERENCE MARKS OF THE REPUBLIC, THE STATE SYMBOLS OR THE STRATEGY MARK
§ 11
(1) The national distinguishing sign of the Czech Republic (hereinafter referred to as the "national distinguishing sign") used in military technology is a circular shape, divided into three uniform wedges of white, red and blue.
(2) The national distinguishing mark may only be made on a military technique with tactical camouflage coating.
(3) With a view to ensuring the good visibility of the national distinguishing mark on the colour background in the full range of colour saturation of shades, the national distinguishing mark shall be submitted as follows:
a) at bright background - white and red field contused blue,
b) with dark background - blue and red field contused in white.
(4) The representation of the national distinguishing mark is given in Annex 11.
§ 12
(1) The national distinguishing sign shall be placed on the military vehicles in such a way that the blue wedge is at the front in the direction of normal motion, the red wedge is at the bottom, the white one at the top and the plane of the red and white wedge is oriented horizontally.
(2) The national distinguishing sign shall be placed symmetrically on both front doors of the cab of the vehicle on military safety vehicles.
(3) On the tanks, the national distinguishing sign is placed on both sides of the shooting tower in the horizontal axis set mainly. In the case of a rescue tank, the national distinguishing mark shall be placed at the front of the body at a distance of one third from the front of the vehicle.
(4) On military combat vehicles, the national distinguishing mark shall be placed in the front half of the shooting tower in the horizontal axis, set in the main and on the side of the body at a distance of one third from the front of the vehicle.
(5) On special weapon carriers, the national distinguishing sign is placed on both sides of the shooting tower in its front half in the horizontal axis set mainly and on the side of the body at a distance of one third from the front of the vehicle.
(6) The vehicles referred to in paragraphs 1 to 5 shall be marked with a national distinguishing mark on the right side of the front and on the left side of the rear of the vehicle, taken in the direction of normal movement. The national distinguishing sign shall be oriented so that the blue wedge is always left when looking directly at the surface of the military vehicle and the plane of contact of the red and white wedges is oriented horizontally.
(7) The size of the national distinguishing mark on the vehicles referred to in paragraphs 1 to 5 is not more than 150 mm.
