DECLARATION
of 7 November 2018
amending Decree No. 428 / 2010 Coll., laying down a range of foreigners who may reside in the transit area of an international airport in the Czech Republic only on the basis of an airport transit visa granted, as amended
The Ministry of Interior, after consulting the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, provides for Act No. 326 / 1999 Coll., on the residence of foreigners in the Czech Republic and on the amendment of certain laws, as amended by Act No. 428 / 2005 Coll., Act No. 379 / 2007 Coll. and Act No. 427 / 2010 Coll.:
Decree No. 428 / 2010 Coll., determining the circle of foreigners who may reside in the transit area of an international airport in the Czech Republic only on the basis of an airport transit visa issued, as amended by Decree No. 270 / 2011 Coll., Decree No. 46 / 2013 Coll., Decree No. 20 / 2014 Coll. and Decree No. 198 / 2014 Coll., is amended as follows:
1. In Article 1, the words "European Communities legislation (1) 'are replaced by the words" European UnionRegulation (1) and the lists therein)';
footnotes 1 and 2 are as follows:
"(1) Regulation (EC) No 810 / 2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 13 July 2009 on the Community code on visas (Visa Code), as amended.
2) Article 3 (1) of Regulation (EC) No 810 / 2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council. '
2. In Paragraph 2 (2), the words "European Communities legislation (2) 'are replaced by the words" European UnionRegulation (3)';
Footnote 3:
"(3) Article 3 (5) of Regulation (EC) No 810 / 2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council."
3. the Annex shall read as follows:
"Annex to Decree No 428 / 2010 Coll.
List of States whose nationals or foreigners are holders of travel documents issued by them may reside in the transit area of an international airport in the Czech Republic only on the basis of an airport transit visa issued

10. Republic of Malia,
11. the Islamic Republic of Mauritania,
12. Niger Republic,
13. State of Palestine,
14. The Republic of Sudan,
15. Syrian Arab Republic,
16. Republic of Turkey,
17. Turkmenistan. '
Efficacy
This Regulation shall enter into force on 12 November 2018.
